Not often that you find a Stockman daughter in her prime being offered. Ginger is pictured in her working clothes as she was a late addition to the sale, but she has been a solid, productive cow in our herd. Ideally we would have brought along her outstanding heifer calf to show her productive value, but she gained a lot of attention on our Facebook page, and has been sold privately. Watch for Ginger’s video where we will include her with the calf nursing at the end of August. The service sire is by Millbrook Fireball from the Prospect Hill Stage Show 51A cow that we have been flushing very successfully. The Stage Show females have produced well in a number of herds, including the Willow Springs herd who have a “Show” heifer calf consigned in this sale. Ginger is free of all known defects and Myostatin.

Exposed to Dungannon Machismo 12M ET from May 20 - June 25, and Preg checked safe. Due approximately March 1, 2026.

Milly has a older twist to her pedigree that offers some unique genetics to the current gene pool. Solid and square from the ground up she promises to be an excellent brood cow. Her dam and aunt (Ginny 3G & Glitter 4G) have been cornerstones in our cow herd and show string as we always take a “Maid” to town. Ginny 3G was also the 2019 National Champion Female. Her service to Big Ticket should give trouble free calving, and a marketable calf. Milly is free of all known defects and Myostatin.

This girl has momma cow written all over her. Easy fleshing, moderate framed, deep bodied heifer. She’s out of an ‘A’ cow who is still in our herd, proving that longevity is in her genes! Serviced by Bell M Ironspring 3M, a top seller and incredibly impressive bull we purchased at the Who’s your Daddy bull sale last April. Exposed from April 20 - June 30.

Sindy 31M ideally combines the great qualities of the shorthorn breed; docility, strong maternal background and easy fleshing attributes all in a gorgeous roan coat. Her dam gave us an identical heifer calf this year that we are retaining, otherwise she would be staying in the herd. If you’re looking to get into the shorthorn breed or add new genetics into your herd, 31M would be the female to take a good look at. She is an absolute sweetheart.Pasture exposed to Paintearth Lexus 25L April 28 to August 12.

MARCH 17 ‘24

34M is another powerhouse female coming off the Rosie cow family. The Rosie X Classified offspring click well with adding extra length and size to them as you will see with 34M. She is long spined with tons of capacity and an attractive front end and overall look to her. She is built for the long road as her dam has developed into a great producer who is correctly made with a near perfect udder. 34M is a copy and paste version of her dam and will make a great asset to anyone’s operation.

Exposed to Paintearth Lexus 25L

Here’s a very feminine, long bodied, moderate framed heifer. (if the wife had her way this heifer would be staying!) We purchased her dam from Poplar Park Shorthorns a few years ago and currently have 2 other half sisters in the herd. Claudia is also sired by our home raised DCS Apollo 1J.

AI’d April 15 to Diamond Lord Belmore 56B. Pasture exposed April 29 to DCC Lucky Ticket.

Jackie is built for the long haul. She should mature into a cow with all the traits for a long, productive life: a high-quality udder, sound feet, and the fertility to stay in the herd for years. Her dam is a proven 11-year-old female, still in production, who has consistently raised a quality heifer calf every year since we purchased her three years ago. This year, she’s given us another good one; a full sister to 5M. The sire was our herd bull for two years; he had excellent foot quality, and has proven his worth by adding solid growth and trouble-free calving to his offspring.Pasture exposure to Saskvalley Lethal 225L May 22 - Aug 5 and preg checked for late March/early April calving.

MELODY 8M

Check out this large framed, long bodied redneck roan. She is a cross between our home raised bull. DCS Apollo 1J and one of our good producing black sim cows. The dam just weaned her 9th calf and she’s a whopper.

Melody was AI’d April 14th to Diamond Lord Belmore 56B. Pasture exposed to calving ease Black Angus bull May 25.

WINCHESTER 7M77

The first Greens Fork daughter to sell in Western Canada, and she is a good one. Wide topped, long bodied and feminine fronted. Her Byland Winchester dam was our pick in the Shadybrook 50th Anniversary Sale, and she has certainly not disappointed. She mirrors her daughters traits, and shows a solid foot with excellent teat and udder structure. Perfect 74J promises to figure prominently in our herd in upcoming years, and so we thought we could offer her daughter for sale. Nova is free of all known defects and Myostatin

KATHRYN 10L

Here is a stout made, long bodied Stockmaster daughter. You will have to see her in person to appreciate her as her picture doesn’t do her justice. The Kathryn family is very consistent at producing functional cattle, a notable example is Bell M Guinness 17G who is a son of this very Kathryn cow family.

BELL M MYSTERIOUS MISSIE 16N 11

One of the few heifers we have out of the Rocken bull that we sold to Marshall Wallum in Iroquois, South Dakota through the Who’s Your Daddy Bull Sale. She is a combination of two great cow families that have made their mark on the breed. Ultra complete, super quiet and very eye appealing with a set of very complete EPD’s that rank above breed average in both maternal and terminal traits. Show prospect here that is going to turn into a great momma cow.

BELL M CATHY JOYFUL 30N

Here is a high performing Zirconium daughter that fuses all the characteristics of a Cathy Joyful female. Long bodied, clean front end and that eye catching roan. Full sister is in Cole Kilpatrick’s herd of Teulon, MB. Her mother is a consistent performance producer with a progeny weaning ratio of 103 and yearling ratio of 105.

Jazzy is a striking red-necked roan with great hair, is very docile and would make an ideal Junior project for a younger breeder. She is backed by great cows, going back to Stage Show 51A, the high seller from the Prospect Hill reduction sale a few years ago. Her grand-dam 17G is one of the original females in our herd and has a strong influence, raising a keeper every year. 4N’s sire is a bull with limited progeny in Canada, making her a unique opportunity to add some outcross genetics to your herd. He was chosen to add some growth and eye appeal, and he certainly has done that.

GAR-LIND TILLIE 31N 14

It wouldn’t be an Alliance Sale if there wasn’t a Tillie in it. 31N is soft made, red heifer that provides a little extra muscle and mass. You must appreciate the balance and performance she brings to the table.

Both heifers were sired by Saskvalley Genuine 125G, a bull we bought second hand from Muri’s a couple years ago. I know Scot is kicking himself for parting with him now!

M TALCOTT JOYFUL 43K

Talcott Joyful 67N is the first progeny that we have offered from the Studer’s Kingdom bull. 67N resembles her sire being square hipped, wide top, big barrelled and easy fleshing. She is a heifer that continued to catch our eye from birth, to the pasture and once she came home. Only because we have a half sister and her mother is young, we are bringing this heifer to the “Bridge City”.

JENNA 72N 17

One of the first Stockmaster females to sell. Out of a first calf heifer. The maternal side of this pedigree goes back to Jenna 85A, a female we purchased from Shadybrook and have had great success producing daughters. 72N is a female that could work in many programs due to her length of body and easy fleshing ability.

Rosie 21N is a beginning of March female out of a moderate frame, easy keeping and docile second calver. 21N packs power and performance in a dark red cherry coat and keeps on impressing as time goes on. Rosie will be a great addition to anyone’s operation and opportunities are endless with this up and coming female.

Deep bodied and beautifully marked, Northern Maid is one of the first Long Looks to sell in Canada and definitely a first for Western Canada. She and her flush mates are some of the friendliest, most enjoyable calves we have ever had to work with. I think she would make an excellent Junior project, and being a March calf would fit into younger divisions at the shows. Her dam and aunt (Glitter 4G & Ginny 3G) have been cornerstones in our cow herd and show string as we always take a “Maid” to town. Ginny 3G was also the 2019 National Champion Female. 20N is free of all known defects and Myostatin

QUEEN

Here’s a female that grabs your attention. This middle of march female is a pure powerhouse with her over-all mass, long and deep bodied, square made but still possesses an attractive make up. 31N is a maternal sister to Royal Queen 10G who sold through this sale back in 2019 to Golden View Shorthorns and currently owned by Cointreau Cattle Co. 10G is a female they speak very highly of as a matriarch in the making. 31N is going to be a tough one to let go as we strive to produce high quality and functional females but we can’t keep them all.

If you know anything about my dad Mervyn, he absolutely loves his redneck roan heifers and I always seem to pick his favorite for the Alliance Sale. Royal Queen 40N is a beginning of April female and is an absolute sweetheart that would look good in a show ring or on green grass. Our Royal Queen females are becoming the favourite cow family in our herd with being the easy keeping kind with strong maternal traits and powerful females who raise our top end calves each and every year.

The first daughter of the Six S Smith & Wesson bull and one of my foundation cows Garlind Tillie 130L to be offered. Couldn’t have asked for a better combination. Feminine, long bodied and structurally correct. She’ll be one to watch for on the green grass showring or in the pasture as a momma cow. Her pedigree is backed by some of the breeds best genetics.

PIC-A-SPOT COMMERCIALS

Three open commercial shorthorn X shorthorn/angus/simmental heifer calves. Three replacement heifers coming from the top end of our commercial side. They come from big performance, good udder and easy keeping type females.

LAROQUE

MANDALONG SUPER FLAG

What more can be said about about this legendary bull! Super Flag appears in many pedigrees of great cattle. Not much of this left to be found. Semen stored at Shepalta Farms.

Some older proven genetics here. Bred in the Don Hoyt herd, Basin, WY. We purchased this bull after he was Grand Champion Sale bull in Denver. This bull has lots to offer the breed with a fault free structure, super footed with some performance built in his pedigree. Here’s a bull that a lot of breeders could use and have excellent results. Stored at Alta Genetics.
