South View Primary School Experiential Sailing

Sailing is great fun and rewarding to learn - where adventure meets courage and discovery. It is a wonderful leisure activity where one can go out to sea and experience something new.

On 18th June 2022, 51 participants enjoyed the leisurely morning cruise organized by South View Primary School Parent Support Group (PSG), a group of parents who strongly support the school and collaborate on many activities, events and programmes for the benefit of the children, parents as well as the teachers.

Before setting sail, a safety briefing was conducted by Iggy - an important routine to have proper guidance to promote a safe environment. With good weather and a gentle breeze, under the careful steermanship of 8 boat skippers both adults and children had a great time together. Upon disembarking, everyone was treated to a bento lunch to complete their wonderful day out.
