Hygienic dispensing of exam gloves
combined with correct hand hygiene reduces the risk of cross contamination

When dispensed correctly, exam gloves are an important tool to protect users from contamination.
Choice of glove
Nitrile exam gloves are recommended as a first choice in situations where there is contact with blood/body fluids and contaminated equipment, using chemical disinfectant and other tasks that provide more strain on the gloves. 1
To ensure sufficient protection it´s recommended to use gloves with an extended cuff. 1 SafeDon Hygiene System are offered in various lengths.
Nitrile Gloves are made from a synthetic rubber compound which does not contain latex proteins.

Images taken from a study where the purpose was to illustrate cross-contamination from multiple users on traditional glove boxes.

Studies show...
Traditional glove boxes are a source of

contamination

due to unnecessary touching of the box, holder and unused gloves inside the box. (1-9)
