The majority of construction materials were purchased from Canex Building Supplies. The arena footing is glacial sand and Nike EuroFelt by Footings Unlimited. This footing was recommended by a high level local coach and is used in several other local arenas. Legend R provided by Cover-All Buildings BC Ltd. JCM Bulldozing: for site preparation. J&P Trucking: for all the gravel. Sam’s Bobcat: for septic system. Barry Watmough Electric: for arena wiring installation. Big Stretch Siding: for the majority of the lounge construction.
As much as possible, I did the rest of the work myself, including installing driveways and parking lots, fencing, stalls, kickboards, covered manure storage, paddocks with shelters, water system and much of the lounge… when I’m not busy cleaning stalls and feeding 11 horses.
