Introduction My goal is to create a place that supports all the needs of the elderly in terms of sports and social activities. Place that provides an opportunity for seniors to share their experiences and activities with their friends and have fun in their time. My goal is to get the elderly out of boredom, isolation and lethargy to a place where they can be more social and more active. The elderly have sacrificed and worked all these years, and we have to do something for them.

A place that serves their needs and brings happiness into their hearts.

Background - What is the problem?

The problem is a lot of old people live in a bad environment and they don’t have money to stay healthy.

- Why is it worth pursuing?

Because the elderly deserve to live a better life after being tired and as a community we need to help because we all will need something like that in one day.

Inspiration Place where can seniors live in a healthy environment. Small place in some areas around the city to support older people to stay healthy and enjoy their times. The place can provide them workout space, swimming pool, medical center, and healthy food.

Research 64% of the seniors who they live in Charlotte they live with their family 29% of the seniors who they live in Charlotte they live alone 13% of Charlotte senior households do not have access to a vehicle 85% of the seniors females are not in labor force, and 74% of the seniors males are not in labor force in Charlotte Nearly half of people age 65 and older need help with routine daily activities.

In the United States at least 18 million people require help with routine daily activities like bathing, handling medications or meals.

29% of people over the age of 65 reported receiving help with taking care of themselves.

Over 1.4 million of these older Americans lived in North Carolina, comprising 14.3% of the state’s population in 2013.

There are 17,941 seniors living alone in Charlotte. Of these, 75% are female.

Site Location Building Analysis : The place will be next to the bus transportation.

The place will be in an area where a large proportion of the elderly live.

The place will be next the golf club It will be around a residential neighborhood

Why Did i Choose This : I decided to choose this site for several reasons, including the site is located in a residential area, which facilitates the club participants’ transportation process. Secondly, the location is close to the golf course because one of the club’s activities is golf, so it will be easy to move to the golf course and enjoy the playground. Third, it will be on a major highway near the bus station

Conclusion In the end this project will help vary important part of people in our community who they need to care about them and give them a hop. This project allowed them to be more social, create new friendships, and engage more in activities to keep them happy.
