A Prism is a solid structure, object, or shape whose all sides are plain faces. It comprises three elements that include an edge, a vertex, and a face. An edge of a prism is a straight line connecting it’s any two adjacent vertices. The vertex of a prism is that area where any two edges meet. The face of a prism is a closed and flat surface that is surrounded by vertices and edges. A prism is a transparent glass that separates white light that passes into it in seven different colors.
According to geometry, a prism is a polyhedron comprising an n-sided polygon base. There are several types of prism according to their different bases, like triangular prism, square prism, rectangular prism, pentagonal prism, and hexagonal prism.
