Membership Report

As of September 2022, SACRAO has over 3,000 individual members in over 372 member institutions!

I would like to provide you with some updates regarding username and password recovery, membership dues, and our Member Relations Committee and thank everyone who has paid their dues for the 2022 2023 year!

If your institution has not yet renewed your annual dues, please review the information on how to view and pay my institutional or organization’s annual dues, which also appears on the Membership Management FAQ page If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me, and we will work together to get you set up!

Institutional Key Contacts should remember that the names listed on your membership dues invoice have no bearing on the amount your institution pays in dues. Dues are based on enrollment at your institution The Dues and Application page otes that beginning with the 2018 19 membership year for institutional members, SACRAO moved to a tiered system for annual dues As a result, your institution is no longer limited to a specific number of individual members!

If you are the Key Contact for your institution, please remember to log into the SACRAO website to review and update the members associated with your institution Instructions on how to do this can be found on the Membership Management FAQ page

There have been some questions about how members can reset their passwords on the SACRAO website

Go to SACRAO.org. Login (your username is your email) in the upper right corner. If you have not set up a password, simply leave the fields blank and select Login.

If you try the information listed above and are still having issues, please reach out to me, and we will get things figured out

LAC Update: Flag-to-flag Field Highlights

Fall has officially arrived, and the Local Arrangements Committee can see the 2023 SACRAO conference on the horizon! As we are all racing to recruit, enroll, and articulate credits for the incoming 2023 class, we want to encourage everyone to slow down and appreciate the impact that you are all making within your respective institutions Sometimes the business of the Fall semester gets in the way of appreciating that our interactions with students, colleagues, and counselors keep our engines going through the next lap of the enrollment cycle While admission representatives road race from city to city and registrar workforces speed toward articulating credits and planning graduation, the SACRAO 2023 conference will allow us to make a pit stop and enjoy much needed time with our respective colleagues. During this time, we will be able to share thoughts on new creative ideas we have learned, how to overcome feeling defeated, and how to keep our energy up to speed through yet another year We will see how innovative adjustments and tweaks along the way can help us accelerate toward institutional success SACRAO 2023 will allow us to come together among a larger group of professionals to strengthen one another for the next lap As you race toward the upcoming SACRAO 2023 conference, there are many fun and unique activities that the LAC encourages you to keep in mind for your trip planning, including connecting with new colleagues and rekindling old ones The Charlotte Motor Speedway is just minutes from the hotel where the SACRAO 2023 Conference will be held. During our big event at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, there will be a mouth watering menu, a DJ and a dance floor, and multiple simulators to experience being behind the wheel on the racetrack and what being a pit crew member can feel like firsthand! What better fun would it be to race against your colleagues to win exciting prizes and bragging rights for the night? Not to mention the highly anticipated Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding! You can visit local shops and restaurants between Charlotte and Concord while experiencing the newly established Gibson Mall Construction should be completed in time for attendees to explore and perhaps play a game or two of Ax Throwing Transportation to and from all of our events will be provided, and there will be various opportunities to relax and take in the amazing city of Charlotte NC

This year ' s theme of racing to inform, improve and inspire will take us on the adventure that will begin with Ray Evernham as our opening guest speaker. Ray, the former racing crew chief, will inspire us all to shift into another gear during the conference to take away tools that could help us to continue racing within our field Furthermore, as the conference sets in on the last few laps, we will conclude the race with a powerful speech from Brandon Leake Brandon, winner of America's Got Talent season 15 and former higher education professional, will wow us with his special talent in spoken word.
