NATURAL PARKS
The Aquarium Finisterrae is in A Coruña. It’s next to the Atlantic Ocean. Lots of different fish live there, like sea horses , rays and jellyfish. There are seals leaping and swimming. There’s a botanical garden with a lot of different plants. There’s a room called “Nautilus” It’s decorated like Captain Nemo’s study in his submarine.There are books and posters, maps and sea shells. There’s a big fish tank where you can see big fish from the Galician coast. There is also a shark called Gaston. The seals are my favourite animals.

This is a map of Faunia Natural Park.
It’s a big animal park. It’s in Madrid. There are a lot of animals from all over the world: penguins, pelicans, lemurs, crocodiles, lions, cheetahs, sea horses, sea cows…
There are tematic areas : - The beehive: you can watch a colony of bees - The farm: you can touch or feed horses, goats, pigs… - The nest: you can see the hatching of an egg and baby tortoises - The island: animals from South America - The garden of Eden: butterflies and other insects. - The lake: flamingos, black swans, geese, ducks… - Pelican lake: pelicans, cormorans… - Underground misteries: snakes, iguanas… - Lake theatre: marine mammals(seals, sea lions) and birds of prey ( vultures, eagles) - Silent shadows: nocturnal animals - Wallaby land: animals from Australia (kangaroo, emu…) - African forest: lemurs, cranes,… - Warm forest: deer, pheasant… - The jungle: parrot, toucan, monkey, piranha, manatees… - The South Pole: penguins, There are restaurants and shops, too. My favourite animals were lemurs, because they are funny. I had a great time. Here are some photos:

Cabárceno Wildlife Park is in Santander, Cantabria. There are animals all over the world living in semi-liberty. You can see tigers, lions, jaguars, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, buffalos, ostriches, hyenas, zebras, camels, llamas, kangaroos, antelopes, monkeys and many more. There are native animals from Cantabria: bears, wolves, deer, ibex and wild boar There are also some lakes where you can fish There is also a reptile house where you can see snakes. There’s a hotel, a car park, a children’s play area and a souvenir shop. My favourite animals were the giraffes, tigers and wolves.

Marcelle Nature Park is in Lugo (Galicia) There are a lot of animals: wolves, llamas, linxes, bisons, deer, squirrels, ostriches, bears, camels, zebras, monkeys, emus, wild boars, kangaroos, There is a reptile house with snakes, lizards, iguanas… There is a lake with frogs and ducks. There is a restaurant, a park where children can play, a shop where you can buy souvenirs and a car park.. My favourite animal in the park was the linx. I don’t like snakes because they scare me. I really liked to visit this natural park.

Avifauna is a Bird Park . It’s in Lugo. There are a lot of birds from Galicia and from different parts of the world. You can see swans, geese, doves, cassowaries, emus, storks, vultures, pheasants, cranes, flamingos, parrots, owls, ostriches,… There is a library with books, magazines and videos about birds. There is a museum with extinct birds.

Vigo Zoo is a big animal park in Vigo. There are a lot animals: mammals, birds, reptiles... Mammals: boars, lions, beavers, zebras, deers, wolfs, bats, black panthers, bears, tigers, Birds: You can see black swans , eagles, ostriches, owls, vultures, parrots, emus, peacocks, ducks… Reptiles: snakes, turtles, geckos Invertebrates : stick insects, centipedes, spiders and butterflies. Mariposario: It’s a room with a lot of butterflies. You can see them in Spring and Summer. Nocturama: It’s very dark and you can see nocturnal animals: bats, Threre’s a small Planetarium. You can see the stars in the sky at night. There’s a children’s play area, a snack bar, a shop and a car park.
