Lower School (Incoming K-5th graders) can participate in two 3-week full-day sessions. Students participating in the Summer Program must follow and support Country Day's Community Code of Conduct. As an extension of the school year program, Summer Camp aligns its behavioral policies with the Lower School and Middle School divisions Behavior or language perceived by the Director or designated staff as mean-spirited, hurtful, unsafe, or threatening mayresultinsuspensionordismissalfromtheprogram Thisincludesanybehaviorthatunderminesourgoaltobestservethe needsofallparticipants.

AllergyPolicy

Sacramento Country Day School values the safety of all of our community members and exercises some common-sense precautionstosupportstudentswhohavespecificallergies Thoughwearenotanut-freeschool,westrivetomakeitsaferfor childrenandadultswithfoodallergiestoparticipateinthefullrangeofactivitiesavailableatCampCavalier

TheSchool’sresponsibilities:WewilleducatetheCampCavalieremployeesaboutallergies,signs,andsymptomsofallergyand anaphylaxis,andprovidetrainingontheuseofepinephrine(Epi-Pensandothersuchdevices).Eachchildwithaknownallergy will have an Allergy and Anaphylaxis Emergency Care Plan in the Camp office. We will educate students and parents about allergiesandappropriateprecautions Eachemployeewillbemadeawareofwhichchildrenintheircarehaveseriousallergies Children may not share or trade food with each other We will inform other parents if a student’s allergy is so severe that particularitemscannotbebroughttoCamp

SmokeDayPolicy

Thefollowingguidelineswillbeimplementedforsummer2026:

AQI of 200+: A sudden spike in AQI will be monitored and may not necessarily require closure However, when AQI reaches 201 and is forecast to remain above 200, we will close campus When a closure is necessary, remote learning will continue as scheduled for High School classes while Lower School and Middle School classes and recreation programs are cancelled until furthernotice Campfeeswillnotberefundedforsmokedayclosures

AQI of 150+: All authorized activities on campus will remain indoors and doors and windows will remain closed with our AC filtrationsystemrunning.

AQIof135-149:Allauthorizedoutdooractivitiesoncampuswillbepermitted,withtheexceptionofathleticsclasseswhichwillbe moved indoors Sensitive individuals will be asked to remain indoors All windows and doors will remain open for ventilation of indooractivities

PhotographyPolicy

Country Day reserves the right to use photos from Camp Cavalier for social media accounts, future brochures, and other promotionalmaterials.

How To Register

The registration link will be emailed to Country Day students on March 18. The link will be available for non-Country Day studentsonMarch25atwww.saccds.org/summer.RegistrationclosesonMay15. The remaining balance due for Camp Cavalier will be billed and paid using your 2026-27 Blackbaud Tuition Management account Invoiceswillbesentviaemailonthe1stofJulyandAugust Paymentsareduenolaterthanthe20thofeachinvoiced month Automatic payments can be set up with Blackbaud Tuition Management Payments can be made via the Blackbaud Tuition Management website, over the phone, via mobile app, or by mail All credit and debit card payments are subject to a 3.12% credit card convenience fee. Blackbaud Management accepts ACH payments and checks without additional fees.
