Find Investors for a Startup

Visit investor websites to find business investors. There are dozens of investor websites where businesses can look for investors (see resources), which are sometimes referred to as angel networks. You may often identify potential investors using these networks if you do not personally know anyone who can invest in your business startup idea.
Organize a presentation for investors. Prepare a speech or pitch to introduce your startup's business idea and persuade investors to invest. Include details in your presentation on the business's product or service offering, startup expenses, market demand for the product, and the expected profits the company will earn over the next year, three years, etc.
Investors should hear about your business plan. Pitch your company to the investor at the meeting by giving a presentation and offering the investor a copy of your business plan. Answer any inquiries the investor may have about the startup and explain what is at stake for them, such as stock in the company or a piece of the profits.
