history “From Australia and New Zealand to Europe and the United States of America” Isao Isejima Artistic Institute located in Darien, just outside New York, is the JOICO® International Education Institute, it offers a collection of stylist programs throughout the year. Originated in 2002, this Institute still is the innovative leader in offering high-quality education programs for JOICO® partners world-wide! Located in the main JOICO® Zotos headquarters, this Institute creates the opportunity to visit our innovative laboratories, where all Research and Development for our future products takes place!

Education in the largest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. In its technical sense, education is the process by which one deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills and values to another.

vision One education language and identity – We want to be recognized all over the globe as a brand with one strong, solid story. Through our story-telling education we want to encourage education teams, sales teams and stylists to speak and understand one solid JOICO® education language and identity, no matter where you follow a seminar, no matter where you open up a salon, no matter where you visit a salon as a customer! JOICO® is JOICO®, and nothing else!

Quality and professionalism – JOICO® not only as the leader in the Art of Healthy Hair, but leader in education! Education is the driving force behind the success of our brand; from the very beginning, our focus has been pure and solid; to help hairstylists preserve, improve and enhance the integrity of the hair and to help them to build a solid, successful, professional business with outstanding product-performance but also through knowledge and education. In the past we have been known for our professional, in-depth and personal education, we want to raise the bar even further by implementing even more quality and professionalism in our education programs, striving to perfection!

Individual, personal, flexible, interactive – Seminar guests remember us firstly through our passion and commitment whilst educating our brand but secondly through the individual approach and personal, undivided attention we give our guests (a birthday never goes by uncelebrated at JOICO®!). We want to stay flexible in the information we offer, even on the spot, by putting the desires, objectives and expectations of our guests in first place! We want to educate people by coaching rather than teaching, making our seminars as interactive as possible because we too can never stop learning and perfecting our knowledge and craft! Integrity – We are renowned for a far-reaching heritage of excellence and quality but also for our honesty and integrity; we communicate the truth and stand strongly for under-promise and over-deliver instead of vice versa. We want to pull this integrity through in everything we do, mostly into our education classes and seminars!

Full service education partner – A unique combination of cutting-edge technology, innovative product development, inspiration from the worlds of art and fashion, professional education and commitment to integrity keeps JOICO® firmly in the forefront of professional beauty as a full-service partner for the professional hairdresser. From theoretical classes to fundamental and creative practical courses and commercial business building programs, we want to commit ourselves to upgrading the stylist profession to unknown heights by sharing our knowledge and passion, by listening rather than speaking, by leading rather than following and by coaching rather than teaching!

Knowledge is success – “Knowledge is weightless, a treasure you can always carry easily.” We believe strongly in the fact that knowledge leads to confidence, confidence leads to conviction, which will eventually result in success! We are 100% committed to the advancement of the global salon community. Why? Because beauty isn’t our job - it’s our passion.
