In den seltensten Fällen erschaffen sie durchgängige Charaktere, sondern ein fragmentiertes Bild verschiedener Referenzen und Phantasien. Ihr Ausdruck erscheint auch heute noch modern und lässt sich mit Strategien des Punk und zeitgenössischen Modedarstellungen vergleichen. (N.H.)
