1902 Public company formed as Provincial Incandescent Fittings Co.
1961 PIFCO were almost exclusively manufacturing and distributing electrical appliances and accessories.
1991 PIFCO purchased Russell Hobbs Tower.
1949 2000 The name was officially shortened to PIFCO.
PIFCO manufactured many appliances, including teasmades, fairy lights, torches, lamps, desk fans, hair clippers, hair dryers, multimeters, trouser presses and a hand held massager.
PIfco acquired Haden, the electrical appliances group.
2001 Salton Group, a US company making domestic appliances, acquired PIFCO.
2003 Licensed to various homeware businesses.
2020 Sabichi Homewares acquired PIFCO.
2021 Re-launch of the PIFCO brand in Autumn.
