Das „Skitourengehen“ ist längst nicht mehr nur bei den Einheimischen ein absoluter Trendsport. Viele ruhe- und erholungssuchende Gäste begeistern sich immer mehr für diesen Ausdauersport und genießen die unberührte Natur, die schneebedeckte Landschaft und das herrliche Bergpanorama abseits der Piste. Ab dem Winter 2014/2015 bietet Saalfelden Leogang verschiedene ausgewiesene Skitouren Strecken in unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeitsgraden an. Egal ob man als Einsteiger nach dem schweißtreibenden Aufstieg auf den Skipisten runterfährt oder als Profi die ersten Spuren in den frischen Pulverschnee wedelt, in Saalfelden Leogang ist für Jedermann die ideale Strecke dabei.

Ski touring is not anymore a trend sport for locals only. Many guests who look for silence and relaxation decide for this endurance sport where they can enjoy the untouched nature, the snow-covered scenery and the magnificent mountain panorama far away from the regular slopes.

From winter 2014/2015 Saalfelden Leogang offers a variety of marked ski touring trails of all difficulty levels. It does not matter if you are a beginner who skis down on the slope after a sweaty ascent, or a pro who makes the first tracks in fresh powder snow – in Saalfelden Leogang everyone will find the ideal tour.

In Saalfelden Leogang gibt es verschiedene Skitouren-Aufstiege, im sicheren Gelände, abseits oder getrennt von den Pisten.

In Saalfelden Leogang there are different ski touring ascents, in secured areas, away or separated from the slopes.

Aufstiegsleitsystem Die Aufstiege sind nach dem Runnersfun Farbleitsystem(c) markiert.

Diese sind mit allen relevanten Informationen, wie zurückgelegte Strecke, Höhenmeter usw. versehen. Die GPS Daten der Touren können downgeloadet werden.

Langer, aber technisch einfacher aufstieg – vom Ort Leogang durch die Bayrischen Bundesforste entlang des Hangrückens auf den asitzgipfel bzw. Bergstation. Der aufstieg befindet sich komplett im freien Gelände. abfahrt über die präparierte piste/teils Skiroute zum ausgangspunkt bis 17.00 Uhr. Long, but technically easy ascent – from the Leogang village centre through the Bavarian national forest along the side of the hill towards the asitz summit and the mountain station. The ascent is located entirely in open terrain. Downhill route via the slope/partly ski route back to the start until 5.00 p.m.

SKITOUREN - Regeln D 1. Nur die beschilderten Aufstiege nutzen Es gibt verschiedene beschilderte Aufstiege, für jeden ist etwas dabei. Führt der Aufstieg an der Piste entlang, dann nur am Rand und hintereinander aufsteigen.

2. Abfahrten nur auf geöffneten Pisten Öffnungszeiten täglich von 8.30 - 17.00 Uhr. Das Befahren bzw. Begehen der Piste ist nach Schließung nicht mehr erlaubt.

3. Auf eigene Gefahr Das Begehen bzw. Befahren der Routen passiert auf eigene Gefahr!

Informieren Sie sich vor jeder Tour über die aktuellen Pisten- und Wetterverhältnisse und die Lawinenwarnstufe! LEBENSGEFAHR! Unbedingt erforderliches Equipment mitführen (mehr dazu auf Seite 29).

4. Sichtbar machen Bei schlechter Sicht oder Dunkelheit unbedingt Stirnlampe und reflektierende Kleidung verwenden.

5. Auf andere Wintersportler Acht geben Skitouren Routen, die an den Pisten entlang führen, sind nicht eigens abgezäunt. Gegenseitiges Beachten von Tourengehern und Skifahrern!

6. Pisten nur an übersichtlichen Stellen queren Nur wenn notwendig rasch und mit genügend Abstand queren.

SKI TOURING - RULES E 1. Only use marked ascents There are different marked ascents, something for everyone. If the ascent leads you next to a slope, please ascend in a tight row.

2. Downhill skiing only on open slopes Opening times daily from 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Skiing or walking on the slopes is not allowed after closing.

3. At your own risk Skiing or walking on the routes is at your own risk! Make sure to inform yourself about the current piste and weather conditions and the avalanche alert level prior to every tour! EXTREME DANGER! It is imperative to carry necessary equipment (see page 29).

4. Retain visibility In case of bad weather or darkness, use head lamps and reflective clothing.

5. Watch out for other winter sports enthusiasts Ski touring routes that follow the slopes are not specially fenced off. Mutual consideration of ski tourers and skiers!

6. Cross trails only if visibility permits Cross quickly, with enough distance and only if really necessary.

Ausrüstung Moderne Ausrüstung heißt nicht nur mehr Spaß, sondern auch zusätzliche Sicherheit. Sparen Sie nicht am falschen Platz. Gerade Einsteiger übersehen oft, dass alte Ausrüstung das Tourengehen nicht nur beschwerlicher, sondern auch gefährlicher macht.

Equipment Modern equipment means not only more fun, but also additional security. Do not save money on the wrong things. Especially beginners often overlook, that old equipment makes the touring experience not only cumbersome, but also more dangerous.

Sobald gesicherte Aufstiege und Pisten verlassen werden und man sich ins freie Gelände begibt, ist es unerlässlich, die entsprechende Ausbildung zu haben – ohne Ausbildung herrscht absolute Lebensgefahr.

After secured ascents and slopes have been left behind, a trek into the free terrain requires the necessary training – without it, there is an EXTREME RISK of LIFE-THREATENING ACCIDENTS.

Die Naturlandschaft Salzburgs bietet Platz für Wildtiere, Pflanzen und Menschen. Voraussetzung ist jedoch, dass Sie sich als Naturnutzer oder Naturnutzerin an gewisse Regeln halten:

Stick to the marked routes and paths in the forest. This allows wild animals to get used to sportspeople.
