Louis Taylor Head St. Aubyn’s School
This strategy represents something very special. It will be our route map for all decisions made over the next five years, with the details within having been formulated from the opinions of the entire St. Aubyn’s community.
This will lead us forward together as we prepare our children today for the world of tomorrow.
As the Head of the School, I will endeavour to follow in the footsteps of those who have brought us to this point, Bravely, Happily and Faithfully.
Michael Foster Chair of Governors St. Aubyn’s School
Ever since its foundation in 1884, St. Aubyn’s School has remained at the forefront of educational development. We consistently combine the best traditional methods of teaching and learning with the most up to date and forward-thinking ideas. We strive to be the very best option for parents in the area who are looking for an education that is both academic and progressive in terms of the development of each pupil as an individual.
This new strategy, under the direction of the Head and the Senior Management Team, is fully supported by the Governing Body. The School will continue to step forward into the future, with a financially sound footing leading us into the next exciting chapter of our history.
The fact that this strategy was developed with the voice of the parents, pupils and staff fully taken into account means that we can truly take these steps together, as a community, as one St. Aubyn’s team.
At our school, we are dedicated to nurturing curious minds, fostering academic boldness, and building inclusive communities. Through innovative teaching methods and a dynamic curriculum, we empower every child to reach their full potential and become lifelong learners and contributors to society. We embrace diversity, champion inquiry, and cultivate a culture of respect, empathy, and resilience.
As a thread through the School, the St. Aubyn’s Promises guide us in our behaviour towards one another and our determination to be the best versions of ourselves possible.
Our aim is to create an environment where academic excellence and personal growth intertwine seamlessly. Building upon our enduring motto, “Fortiter, Fideliter, Feliciter; Bravely, Faithfully, Happily,” we embrace a dynamic approach to teaching and learning that honours tradition, while also embracing innovation.
