Louie Ryu worked within the Standards and Compliance Division in the winter of 2013/14 as an AutoCAD Operator and Design Assistant. His duties included assisting the Drawing Record Specialist update record drawings and to assist with the a) Stairwell Enclosure and b) Accessibility Projects.
Louie approached all work with verve and a positive attitude. He understood the tasks, was receptive to any changes, offered suggestions and completed all tasks on time.
He is very knowledgeable and adept in using AutoCAD and good problem-solving skills are evident in his completed work. He has a fresh professional approach to completing projects.
If you have any additional questions about Louie, don’t hesitate to contact me.

I am writing in reference and support of Louie Ryu’s employment at HLW Intl. during the dates of September 29th, 2014 - December 19th, 2014 as part of his Co-Op Program with the University of Waterloo School of Architecture. During this period of employment with HLW. I had the opportunity to work with and direct Louie on a variety of projects ranging from a corporate office building in New jersey to a large-scale mixed-use competition in China.
Louie’s work and team ethic, as well as his digital skills, proved to be a valuable asset for the projects he was exposed to. His engaging personality, diligence, and professionalism exceeded designers of similar experience and training. I recommend and endore Louie as a candidate for employment in the architectural field as he continues to train as a designer and young professional.
Sincerely,
Stephen Zuber, LEED AP Senior Designer / Associate

The Wampanog people were the Indigenous population of Cape Cod that survived on shing, and the local ora.
The Wampanog people taught settlers how to strip and process blubber from beached whales. Cape Cod eventually became the focal point of America’s whaling industry.
The shift from whale oil to coal as a primary fuel source following the Industrial Revolution led to the decline of the whaling industry, and Cape Cod eventually switched to its current tourism based economy.
