THE TELESCOPE

CONCEPT INSPIRATION My design concept comes from space telescope. The Telescope use to observe the space and planet if you reading under the lamp it like observing the story in the planet, because every book every story have their own planet so it like through the telescope to observe the story happen in the planet.

In my design the light is refract from the rechargeable flashlight when you need it can take down to use.

Also, the design used natural stone to be the base because in natural nothing is same so that every product is unique. Besides, it is adjustable design for user convenience.

This

is the table lamp size first concept rendering, I’m trying to show the effect that the light refelection. In this project i want to use other way to design the lamp, common lamp mostly used light bulb. So that i used flashlight to be the light source, user allowed to pick down the flashlight to use for their needs.

CONCEPT ANALYSIS

OBJECT ANALYSIS In this practice we need to choose one object to analyze and base on it to redesign the electronic device. I selected apple to analyze what form it can be and the features of apple.

IDEATION SKETCHS

After analyze the apple form and features, I base on these features and form to redesign the air purifier.

I selected the apple core to be the basic form and according to the features to develop the new air purifier.

It can be fill the aromatherapy after purify. The air will through the aromatherapy to fill full aroma in your house

DEVELOPMENT FINAL DESIGN

FRESH & AROMATIC My design concept come from the apple. when you look at the fresh apple you won’t know how aromatic it is, but you cut or bite it will release aromeas. I use this feature to develop the air purifier. The core purifier will refresh the air and release the fragrance to fill your house let you relax and calm.

THE TARGET USER For women who live alone, we are going to provide the necessary assembly tools for them. The traditional screwdriver it takes a lot of effort, electric screwdriver will help women easier to assembled furniture. So How MUJI help people easily to handle their problems in home decoration.

For saturation when ladies who live alone want to drill on wall to hanging something or assembled furniture.

RESEARCH PRODUCT/ANALYSIS

IDEATION SKETCH DEVELOPMENT

These ideation started with some interesting form and develop different parts like button and handle. Also, I tried some new method to solve the problem like using pressure detector to control the speed and start.

DEVELOPMENT FINAL DESIGN

FLEXIBLE DESIGN This is the button free design when you Press the screwdriver on screw it will start lock into/out the screw. For safety reasons,need to turn the controller left or right to activate and adjust the torque.It included the screw-bits stroage space also can control the torque. In addition, the design can transform to 130 degree for user convenience.

Trip a day of young executive By using design thinking tools to know about what young executive will do in a day. I waill follow the trip a day of him to what he need, waht would he wear often time to design for him.

After the analysis, I’m focus on the things he will wear during some activities to develop different idea on voice control devices.

The user is young executive for them more conveniecnce on their workplace also the watch can remove and put on arm band. besides, when put it on the charging stand which can become a smart home assistant During presentation it can connect to computer to control and voice command that move to next page, open file and pause etc. Since they can presented more naturally.

CRYSTAL LAMPSHADE The theme lampshade is combined 40 unit by folded translucent paper. the unit form is follow the ice crystals shape to make. I want to make some angle seem like a crystal when i make the lighting sculpture will be easier.

Before the final sculptuer i have make 3 testing model to find how to more push out the theme. But the demo is very simple so i have develop into more plentiful
