State of the Market This market is something no one has ever quite seen before. We are experiencing extremely low supply levels never seen before. So low in fact, that we only have roughly 1 month supply of homes to sell. Simply stated, if no other homes entered the market, the current “for sale” listings would be absorbed in less than a month. In contrast, a balanced market sits at roughly 5 months. What this means is that values will continue to push up and generate even more home wealth for those who own property. Do not let this discourage you from looking for your dream abode. There are still plenty of purchasing opportunities for those looking to make moves. What’s one thing you DO need? You need to work with a specialist who has a knowledgeable network and can navigate through today’s climate to discover your next dream home. Not all agents are specialists.
