This year, like last year, is like no other in our history. Certain parts of the real estate market took a bit of a breather over the last 3-4 weeks, which offered time for enjoying my family and also for reveling in the talent and dedication of the athletes competing in the Tokyo Olympics. What perseverance they have shown through so much uncertainty and change in the last year. They have stayed committed to their craft and to being the best of the best. We have sympathized with their struggles and been in awe of their successes. Much like an athlete at the top of their game, my team strives to be world-class in our arena of real estate.

I may not be able to answer your questions on politics, the pandemic, or global warming, but I CAN answer all things related to the housing market. This is my wheelhouse. I do not dabble in real-estate. I eat, sleep, and breathe real estate so I can bring the best and most current information to my people. We know that even with this breath in the market, there are amazing opportunities to be had. The market is ever so gently shifting to be friendlier to many buyers. Homes are being priced more appropriately to their current market value versus the frenzy to start the year. Although many sellers may feel like their window of opportunity is slowly closing, I tend to disagree and see so much more runway and opportunity for those looking to trade real estate in the near future. The biggest differentiator is how ones property is positioned and presented to the market. If done so with pride and class, paired with the right marketing plan the home will most certainly succeed in this ever growing competitive market. The amount of purchasers still outnumber inventory almost 4 to 1 and even though the market is seeing more competition, there is a formula for success.
