OUR DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING FACILITY

Our 40,000 ft2 manufacturing and R&D facility is based in Wexford, Ireland with 20,000 ft2 dedicated to full-line assembly and FAT. With a complete in-house design and engineering department, machine shop and fabrication services, Tekpak has the capability to manage both large and small projects. An additional Technical Sales and Service Centre in the UK provides our clients additional support when required. Our immediate proximity to the main UK and Euro access ports with international airports accessible by direct motorway, offers our customers global access.

PHARMA COMPETENCE

GMP COMPLIANT MACHINES

Machines are designed with GMP in mind, ensuring ease of cleaning, the product is controlled and visible throughout the process, and product can be easily removed. Design features are included to maintain product quality and integrity throughout the packaging processes.

FDA 21 CFR PART 11 / EU ANNEX 11

Machines can be configured to assist with 21 CFR Part 11 / Annex 11 compliance concerning electronic records and electronic signatures. The control systems used for pharmaceutical applications provide audit log, time sync, active directory connection, password protection, user groups and permissions.

GAMP 5 METHODOLOGY

Projects are managed using GAMP 5 methodology, following a quality and project plan to ensure risks are managed and mitigated for computerised systems throughout the life cycle.

SERIALISATION & INSPECTION EQUIPMENT INTEGRATION

Serialisation systems and ancillary equipment such as printers, labellers, and QC inspection equipment can be integrated with associated reject. Inspection equipment may include OCR vision, pattern match/ quality attributes, check-weighing, x-ray, seal integrity testing, or metal detection.

INDUSTRY 4.0

Our machines are Industry 4.0 ready to communicate with other devices and higher level SCADA, MES and OEE systems using defined communication protocols such as OPC UA, LDAP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, I-O Link, and Modbus TCP/IP.

Full validation documentation is available from Design Qualification, Functional Design, Hardware & Software Specifications, FAT Protocol, Traceability Matrix, IQ/OQ Tests, pFMEA, and SAT/PQ support.
