to know / to understand / xiǎo is my middle name. I wanted to make a zine that recorded the dreams I want to remember. This book is a combination of dreams about ancestry, about my birth parents. I made the paper out of chopped up Chinese homework. Mostly grid paper and character writing practice, sticky notes and scraps. There’s also a tiny book inside because one of my favorite things is special inserts.
