When you first meet Dr. Anna Almonte, you see another doctor running around in blue scrubs. But once you get to know her, or even become her patient, you realize you have a guardian angel in a white coat.
Checking up on patients and practicing in the medical field is not just what Dr. Almonte does. She is a first-class specialist, an exceptional, understanding listener, and the best communicator. She understands how vital it is to establish relationship with a patient on more than just a simple doctor client basis. Dr. Almonte truly follows her mission statement: “My hands heal, my heart care!”
After graduation from Odessa’s Medical State University, then Medical school in New York and a completion of OBGYN residency in St. John's Episcopal Hospital in NY in 2005, she is now working in the new and beautiful Anderson Lucchetti Womens and Children center of Sutter Medical Center, located in the heart of our city – downtown Sacramento. This establishment is a part of the TOP 100 US hospitals, hosting world-class physicians and the latest medical technology. Sutter Medical Center now holds the record for the highest number of births in Northern California with a soaring number of 627 born in the month of August! Dr. Almonte specializes in the personalized obstetric care of normal and high-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, infertility evaluation, contraception, menopause and disorders of the cervix, vulva and perineum. Fluent in three different languages, Dr. Almonte effectively communicates with her patients in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Being an advocate for prevention, she educates women about their health, helping them make informed decisions. Maybe that is why a visit to Dr. Almonte’s office feels more like seeing a good friend than consulting with an OBGYN doctor. Dr. Almonte is absolutely in love with her job, and there is never a day where she’s not smiling at work. She also loves and cherishes her time with her 3 beautiful daughters. She is an active member in the community and many charities and events. Despite her hectic work schedule, she always somehow finds time to balance it all.
