MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE
There’s something remarkable about the generosity that lives in this community. It doesn’t just sustain Rundle—it inspires us to think bigger, dream bolder, and believe deeply in what’s possible.
This year, your support shaped Rundle’s future in profound ways. You stood behind our small school with big dreams, and because of you, those dreams are coming to life. Together, we broke ground on the future of Rundle Academy through the Building Futures campaign, creating a legacy that will uplift generations of students.
Thanks to you, Rundle’s exceptional programs are thriving. Renovations to the art and science spaces at Rundle College will breathe new life into hands-on learning. At Rundle Studio, a growing community of students continues to find belonging and purpose in a program designed just for them. Your incredible support of the Head of School Fund reflects the trust you place in Rundle’s leadership and vision. And through the Student Bursary Fund, you opened doors for students whose potential now has the space to grow.
All of this is possible because you believe that a Rundle education today helps build a brighter future tomorrow.
As we celebrate 40 years of Rundle this school year, we do so with gratitude and excitement, knowing the future is bright because of the community that surrounds us. Your generosity is more than a gift; it’s a powerful expression of hope, belief, and what’s possible when we come together.
Thank you for shaping Rundle’s future. We’re so grateful to be building it with you.
With deepest gratitude,
Dr. Jason Rogers Head of School
Jon McKenzie Advancement Committee Chair
CELEBRATING YOUR IMPACT
GRADUATES GIVE BACK
At Rundle, giving back begins early. Since 2015, our graduating classes have come together each year to support future students through the Grad Class Giving Project. With a gift equal to their grad year (ie. $20.25 for the Class of 2025), our grads have chosen to leave something behind: a legacy of generosity and care for the students who will follow in their footsteps. More than a farewell, this tradition is a first step into lifelong involvement and impact within the Rundle community.
Each year, these contributions have been directed to the Student Bursary Fund, helping to ensure that a Rundle education remains accessible to students from all backgrounds and financial situations. The collective impact of these first-step gifts has been deeply meaningful.

Since the project began, our graduating students—now proud alumni—have raised $230,000 in support of their peers. More than dollars, these gifts reflect a shared belief in community, compassion, and the power of education to change lives.
We are so proud of our graduates for the kindness and leadership they continue to show—both during their time at Rundle and beyond. Their commitment to giving back has created a ripple effect that strengthens our school and sends a powerful message to the next generation: you belong here, and you are supported. The Grad Class Giving Project is proof that when we start early, even the smallest gifts can build something extraordinary.

100% Participation from Rundle's Graduating Class of 2025
Thank you for taking the pressure off of my mom and dad. I know they want the best for me, and being able to continue on at Rundle has meant a lot to me and my whole family. One day, I hope I might be able to do the same for someone else.”

Transforming lives together
HISTORIC BUILD
The sun shone on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, as the Rundle Academy community gathered to begin a new chapter in Rundle’s history. This occasion didn’t mark the beginning of an ordinary construction project; it was the first giant step towards a new home for neurodiverse learners and a place where Rundle Academy students can thrive and grow. With shovels in hand, the community celebrated the ceremonial groundbreaking for the new academic wing, marking the beginning of a future built on shared commitment and unwavering support.
This historic day in Rundle Academy’s future was followed by the incredible success of the Same Heart, New Home event, a celebration that brought the community together. Thanks to the generosity and collective effort of everyone involved, the event and the groundbreaking together were powerful testaments to the community’s dedication to creating a brighter future for Rundle Academy’s students.
A LOOK INSIDE
The new facility is designed to be more than just a building, it’s a place crafted to meet the unique needs of every learner. The Phase 1 Academic wing will feature:
• Classrooms tailored for small class sizes and collaboration.
• Flexible seating so teachers can create the right learning setup for each class.
• Classrooms that contain two work pods for quiet study and work, plus large group break-out spaces just outside the classroom door.
• Angled walls to create warm and welcoming classrooms.
These thoughtful designs reflect the heart of Rundle Academy, a place where, as Grade 6 Student Tyler G. puts it, “every student understands what it’s like to have strengths and to struggle. Here, we lift each other up and succeed together.”
This sentiment was echoed by an alum from the Class of 2009, who shared, “My experience at Rundle Academy reflects Rundle’s core values. At the Academy we ensured that no individual was left behind, we met people where they were at, we fostered growth, and provided unwavering support through personal journeys.”
Since breaking ground in April, the teams from EllisDon and M3 have been hard at work preparing the new home of Rundle Academy. Excited by the spirit of the Building Futures campaign, our construction partners have engaged with the Rundle Academy community, taking part in the Academic Fair, talking to students at assemblies, and sharing their knowledge with our youngest students while building our students’ futures in the backyard.
Most impressively, crews have been able to keep construction on schedule through

some challenging ground terrain (some of the pilings for the new school went through metres of sandstone) and plenty of July rain.
A huge benchmark for the project was realized on August 8th when the first steel girders were delivered to the site.
We look forward to watching the academic wing come to life over the next year and celebrating the grand opening alongside our construction partners and our incredible Rundle Academy community in September 2026.

2024-25 LEADERSHIP VOLUNTEERS
At Rundle, our volunteers are the beating heart of our community. Their time, energy, and expertise quietly shape nearly every corner of school life; from classrooms to boardrooms, from sports fields to graduation stages. Whether serving on our Board of Directors, taking on an executive role in one of our four Parent Advisory Councils, or lending a hand at events big and small, our volunteers play an essential role in moving our mission forward.
We see the impact of their generosity everywhere. Parents step into classrooms to share their stories, passions, and professions, helping students see what’s possible beyond the walls of Rundle. Committees form to plan fundraisers, coordinate sports tournaments, and create unforgettable moments for grads and grandparents alike. Alumni return as mentors and speakers in our Ascent Series, offering wisdom and encouragement to the next generation of leaders. And every
moment they give adds up to something extraordinary for our students.
We are profoundly grateful to every volunteer who gives their time in support of Rundle. You don’t just show up, you lead, lift, and inspire. Your generosity creates connection, sparks curiosity, and strengthens the foundation on which our students grow. Thank you for standing alongside us in pursuit of a more kind, curious, and well future for all.
