Ingredients

16 oz bag mini pretzels

12 oz bag bright white candy melts or melting white chocolate wafers

two 10 oz bags Easter M&Ms

Instructions

Preheat oven to 225 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange pretzels in a single layer. Place one candy melt on top of each pretzel. Place in oven for 2-3 minutes, enough to slightly melt the candy melts. Remove from oven and with older kids or the help of an adult add the M&Ms immediately. To make a bunny, place 1 M&M near the bottom of the pretzel for the bunny’s head. Add two M&Ms above off to the both sides for the bunny’s ears. Allow the candy melts to harden completely and then remove from the baking sheet. Enjoy!

Strawberry Lemon Trifle

Ingredients:

1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 tablespoon sugar

Zest and juice of 2 lemons

1 store-bought angel food cake, cut into cubes

1 ½ cups whipped cream

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Directions:

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice.

Toss gently to coat the strawberries, then set aside to macerate for about 15 minutes.

In a trifle dish or individual glass dessert bowls, place a layer of angel food cake cubes. Spoon a layer of macerated strawberries over the cake.

Repeat the layers until the trifle dish or bowls are filled, ending with a layer of strawberries on top.
