001 Design Thesis Project Follow Bird's Tracks,Exploring the coexistence of humans and birds in the Valbona region of Barcelona

the project is located in the Valbona region of Spain, which I have researched and found to have a very good potential for development for two reasons: firstly, the Valbona region is well connected to the capital city of Barcelona, with the C33 road linking the two areas. In addition, the various public transport links in the area make it very accessible. Valbonne area is very rich in soil and has about 1/5 of agricultural land. These factors lead to a very diverse vegetation in the Valbonne area, which in turn attracts a wide variety of birds. Two important bird migration routes cross the area, with a large number of birds skimming the area from September to November, when the prevailing wind is easterly or westerly. /Points A and B of this design are on the higher ground in the Valbonne region, which causes birds to take short breaks or stops as they migrate through AB. This transit station of birds has a high level of interaction with nature, which is why I had the idea of creating nature environmentfriendly buildings in these two areas. I wanted these buildings to not only provide shelter for birds, but also for people to study, work and play. creating ambiguity boundaries between architecture and nature.

Barcelona' De Bird Museum

The project is located in the Valbona region of Spain, which have a very good potential for development.

Defined as a landscape recreation building, Point B consists of a series of open spaces that take up less space in exchange for a more interesting park play experience.

It echoes Point A in its architectural form, incorporating topography and landscape to create its own architectural space, echoing the form and habits of the bird population from the inside out.

The project is located in the southern coastal area of Rapamal Island. It is set on top of a famous Kansai cultural relic, the Sacred Spring, which is one of the symbols of Kansai culture. As a site surrounded by volcanic rocks, the mountainous terrain is the most important feature of the site, so the project uses the mountainous terrain as an element to follow the trend and Exploring new possibilities of space. Explore how the new building can revive the cultural beliefs of the ancient Guancian people.

Due to the rich climatic conditions and the active volcanic landscape, the project site is rich in rock formations, and in the ancient caves of the Guanches, they constructed the spaces of their caves and made various facilities according to the different characteristics of these rocks. Similarly, a variety of rock types can be used extensively in the new project.

Ⅰ The new project will focus on rebuilding the previous holy well to make the tourist have a better understanding of Guanche historical and cultural heritage.

The internal space form of the building will mimic the cave system of the ancient concern people.

Combining the cave model of the Concerned People with the advanced one will create a sufficiently optimized interior space while evoking the cultural memory of the Concerned People.

Ⅲ An observation station will be rebuilt at the observatory ruins of ancient Guanches to represent their worship of the sky.

Ⅱ A diving center is expected to be built along the coast so as to help people understand sea culture and carry out survey on the coastal relics.

Ⅳ the construction materials and facilities come from abundant volcanic rocks.

The g level is the dive centre, where people will change and put on their diving equipment before entering the outdoor platform and the diving pool for an initial safety course and practice, and once they are ready, they can go straight to the sea for diving activities.

The first floor commuter centre has a mix of open and semi-open spaces, with guided pathways linking the roads on both sides of the building and entrance doors that can be opened or closed at any time, making it a fully enclosed or fully open area to cope with the island's changing weather.

The fourth level is the Observatory's reception centre, where people buy tickets and wait in line to enter the Observatory.

On the second floor is the visitor centre, where a large staircase leads to a guided tour area for map reference and access to the interior of the visitor centre for queries.

The third floor is the Paragliding Centre, similar to the Diving Centre, where people can take their equipment with them to any of the nearby paragliding take-off areas after training, with a wide outdoor platform for easy access to equipment and rest.

On the sixth floor is the Sky Garden, where visitors can enjoy viewing activities and take a break.

On the seventh floor is the stargazing deck, equipped with a large telescope, where you can observe the island's star trails from a 360 degree angle, and take measurements and records in the adjacent studio.

PROTOTYPE The four functional blocks - the observatory, the paragliding centre, the diving centre and the visitor centre - along the elevation of the mountain according to their attributes in order to minimise earthworks adjustments. At the same time, the views from each block are unobstructed, with the roofs of the lower levels also acting as platforms for the upper levels. Finally by staggering the main body of each level and twisting the upper tower. The result is a more open view and a more varied building form.

Open-air pool The open pool on the ground floor, with the addition of a skin, allows for different light effects as well as the integration of leisure needs.

Exhibition hall The central pavilion has been fitted with a skin system to prevent glare from affecting the product during high sunlight hours.

Circulation area The commuting area also ensures that excessive direct sunlight is not a problem and allows people to experience different changes of light and shade as they walk through.

Passive Sustainability Strategy The adaptive façade can be opened and closed in real time to achieve a 20% to 80% change in light transmission to cope with most of the direct sunlight and low light conditions on the island during the day.

Adaptive Sustainability Strategy The central pavilion has been fitted with a skin system to prevent glare from affecting the product during high sunlight hours.

In the morning people come to the central commuting hall for a short break and then enter the visitor centre to purchase tickets and decide on their subsequent activities. Some visitors go directly to the lower diving centre for diving training and access to the sea area, or to the Holy Fountain for a visit.

Others go to the upper paragliding centre to prepare and take the bus to the nearby paragliding sites.

The project is located in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, and is based on the Suzhou government's plan to renovate the ancient city walls of Suzhou. The boundaries between the areas are very clear. Each house is almost clearly bounded and separated, with people doing different jobs in them and little intersection between the different houses.

Without breaking the boundaries of the area and the single flow of the area and without destroying the skyline of the old city, the land is saved as much as possible for the design of a more public and open commercial area.

At the same time, the project does not serve as a starting point or an end point, it is more like a transit station, which makes the project itself without a clear boundary with the outside world, in other words, the project needs to be integrated into the surrounding environment. In other words, the project needs to be integrated into the surrounding environment and to stimulate the vitality of the whole area.

003 Redefining the Ancient City Wall - Transforming Suzhou's Ancient City Community

The project is located in Suzhou, China. Situated at the site of a historic ancient city wall.

ACTUALITY EXTRACTION

GENERATION

Ⅰ The resting space revolves around the road and radiates from the road to the surrounding area

Ⅳ The living space is planned with a barrel-inbarrel support column structure in order to adapt the form and structure to the public space on the ground floor.

Ⅱ Corridors are designed for visitors to rest and stay. Curved planes are used at the junction of man-made space and landscape

Ⅴ The circular interlocking flow of the ground floor is open and fluid, representing the breaking down and exploration of boundaries.

Ⅲ The frame structure is supported to give the whole space a permeable character, allowing for the free construction of internal and external spaces.

Ⅵ The upper floors are more private and enclosed. By rotating and interlacing, the different floors present different state.

Sustainable Strategy & Diversified Streamline The purpose of the sunken steps is to protect the original trees in the address in an area designed with them in mind. The roof of the porch has holes, the size of which is based on the volume of the trees themselves. They cross the entire project through these holes to shape a richer visual experience in the landscape. This is an important part of the sustainability strategy.More importantly, this route connects to the Suzhou Green Ring around the Old City, which expands the scope of the project and allows for more exploration.

In addition, the project offers three different walking routes, each with a different function and degree of openness.The commercial strolling route allows people to enjoy shopping and experience a more public and open social space. The courtyard stroll route allows people to experience the charm of nature. Waterfront walks, where people can bike or walk across the entire edge of the project, or choose the waterway to leave.

Since the load-bearing columns and walls are placed at the edges and junctions, the interior spaces of each apartment are free of load-bearing structures, allowing the residents to design and change the interior spaces according to their needs.

At the same time, the curved glass curtain wall ensures a 180-degree view for each apartment, and the five-story building height is roughly the same as the roof height of the residential buildings to the west, saving as much land as possible for the design of a more public and open commercial area without destroying the skyline of the old city.

The project is located in Huizhou, China, with the Millennium Ancient Tree Park as the core area of the large forest estate, the estate, hilly, surrounded by mountains, hillside terrain is higher, the middle of the base for the string of five countries water ponds is better, the most important thing is that the base has about 260 more than stationed in the Millennium Ancient Tree linden, purple violet autumn wind and other valuable trees.

All transplanted from the tropical primitive forest, the project to these thousand-year-old trees as the starting point for the design, the location to create an ecological health resort center, without damaging the local ecology, soil and water environment at the same time, to bring economic benefits to the local, to achieve symbiosis between nature and mankind.

The project is located in the HuiZhou provence of China, which have a very good potential for development.

The new eco-estate has different functional areas according to the different vegetation types and the different target groups, and forms a circular whole through a continuous water system.
