Intro

W(hole) means having gaps, wounds. The shape of the body is constantly changing from the inside out. Wounds become part of the body, with accumulated blood clots remaining, scars gradually turning into wrinkles or textures. Perhaps it's destined to happen, and we always become a whole after experiencing collisions, falls, or tears.

Fabric, printed materials, resin clay, temperature-sensitive powder.

Material Photography

There are tremors on the surface and within the flesh. Sometimes it's hard to imagine or notice, but there are subtle scratches in your teeth or pores, or the twisting pain between organs, and some emotions that only they know about. Those unmetabolized blood clots and long-lasting bruises make you like a wrinkled paper that needs some time or your forgiveness. They were meant to exist, as who could arrive here without some collision before leaving?

About Atonement

We will explore the relationship between religion and the development of human civilization, attempting to integrate the images and meanings of different deities, discovering their impact and effects on the human psyche, and seeing the existence and value of religion beyond the level of belief, while also contemplating the essence of "atonement."

Whether in religion or modern society, people still try to alleviate the psychological burden brought by sin through specific behaviors or ways of thinking. Therefore, atonement not only exists widely in religion but also manifests in non-religious cultures and societies. This exhibition will explore the history, culture, and social background of atonement, as well as the atonement methods in different religions and beliefs.

From the recognition of sin to the path of liberation. We will delve into the psychological reasons for atonement as an inner need of human beings: is it fear of hell or a true recognition of wrongdoing? And how do we find the heaven we can step into while living through atonement?

The meaning of 0x0 represents each of us wandering between sin and redemption. 0 and 0 represent the exit and entrance, as well as the end and the beginning. X symbolizes the unknown, representing that sin cannot be quantified with numbers.

These three characters form an infinite symbol, just like each of us experiencing an endless journey of atonement. If Ox is a state, then "Detach From" is an expectation, hoping that every soul trapped in sin can eventually obtain liberation of both the outer body and inner spirit.

Two ghosts, to and fro they sway. In the memories named love, they stray. Restless souls, forever entwined, Wandering aimlessly, no path defined.

Two Ghosts

The lyrics booklets

Print the lyrics on a transparent sheet, with two ghosts each printed on the front and back covers. The memories appear faintly, transitioning from color to black and white, mirroring the fading of love over time. And at its deepest layer, there lies the silhouette of the once beloved.

Philosophy

The formation of clouds is a sensitive response of a dispersed system to subtle changes in the atmosphere. Even the slightest influence can cause it to transform into a completely different appearance. Can we also respond enthusiastically to the most subtle changes in our environment, accumulating to form our own "clouds"

Intro

What is aging? Aging is inevitably accompanied by loss—loss of vitality, loss of youth, loss of cognitive abilities, loss of certain functions, or even loss of memories. Aging is the final destination of a complete life, and it is also the last lesson in life: "accepting oneself." More accurately, it is accepting oneself who is gradually retiring and coexisting with this transition. When one reaches old age, it may seem like they have lost many of the charms of youth, but being able to gracefully and healthily step into the milestone of old age is an immensely honorable and remarkable achievement. Regardless of how life ultimately comes to an end.

The purpose of this e-book is to focus on the elderly and provide grandchildren with an opportunity to better understand their grandparents. Through the themes of food and clothing, the e-book presents the "Legacy Recipes" and "40/50 Years Ago" sections. In the "Food" section, we document our grandparents' traditional recipes while improving our own culinary skills. In the "Clothing" section, we discuss their daily outfits with the elderly, encouraging them to express themselves and gain confidence in their appearance. By visiting and establishing more connections with the elderly, we pay attention to their dietary and dressing habits, encourage more communication and interaction among the silver-haired generation, allowing the elderly to reflect on their youth while providing us with a better understanding of the daily lives and wisdom of the elderly.

"Skinny Love," derived from the song "Skinny Love" by the American band Bon Iver. This book is divided into four parts, each inspired by one of the four lines from "Skinny Love":

With a more direct and expansive perspective, Hao Li sees despair and desolation in the crowded modern society, guiding us through various forms of emotions, relationships, phenomena, and values, pointing to the thin line between love and hate that everyone has experienced or is experiencing. Through poetry, it encourages you to no longer fear facing your own emaciated self.

Intro

Author: 張西

Xi Zhang folds each day into the mundane, jotting down the small, trivial words of everyday life—be they perplexing or joyful, sorrowful or moving—in silence. These murmurs, hidden in the passage of time, are transformed into "Day by Day," a collection written by Xi Zhang for both himself and the readers, day and night.
