Dear Parents / Care Givers Aussie of the Month Congratulations to our Aussie of the Month for August, Meha. Meha was nominated by Ms Lopez for consistently displaying our school value of harmony. Well doe Meha. P&C Fathers Day Activity This Friday afternoon, August 30, the P&C will be running a fathers day afternoon from 3.15pm on the school oval. There will be different activities for each year group for dads or mums/carers to get involved with. Come along and try your hand in soccer or dodge ball against your children. The P&C will be providing a free sausage sizzle on the day. Hope to see as many dads there as possible. Assembly Well done to room 10 who hosted our last whole school assembly. The students did a great job promoting healthy messages about selfimage and confidence. Well done year 1/2’s and Mrs Agnello. Health Expo Our recent Health Expo day for all students in year’s 3-6 was again an outstanding success. Students participated in various activities around the school, creating mosaics, making healthy lunches and learning new types of games promoting healthy lifestyle choices. Our senior students in the Wish Program did a great job leading their group throughout the day and proved themselves to be very organised and capable leaders. Well done to Mrs Price, Miss Vince and Mrs Honey for their hard work organising the day. See page 2 for photos of the day.
Maths Masters Thank you to all of our families who came along to our recent Maths Masters workshop. We hope that families are taking the opportunity to practice their maths at home and we can achieve our whole school improvement target of 15841 more correct answers in our basic number facts test at the end of the term.
