MESSAGE FROM THE PRIME MINISTER COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS I am delighted to lend my support to " Destination Abaco," a promotional tool that is long overdue, given the island's status as one of the leading destinations of tourism and commerce in The Bahamas. The Bahamas, as you would know, is an archipelagic nation that stretches across an expanse of 100,000 miles of ocean, reefs and cays. Nestled amidst our marine treasures are places we inhabit; places where friendly faces, an open embrace, balmy breezes and heavenly sunsets are as alluring today as ever. This and more depict Abaco with its quaint towns, colonial motifs and enveloping entrepreneurial spirit. I congratulate Jack Albury, Ruth Saunders and their team for conceptualizing this project and bringing it into reality. There is every reason to believe that " Destination Abaco" will go a long way in portraying the island for what it is, truly a world class destination.
