The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century Costume Jewelry (Life By Design, 2013) is the definitive book on the subject, and historians, collectors, fashionistas and dealers alike will find something of interest. A visual treasure trove of items from the 1900s to present day, I marveled at the fact that so many of the necklaces, bracelets and earrings from the 40s to the 60s are still in vogue. 23
