Commonly known as by its botanical name c ​ hristisonia tubolsa​.It is a rare endemic parasitic plant,which was rediscovered in 2003. It belongs to the same family of the ghost flower.It grows at the roots without any leaves and chlorophyll.so it solely depends upon other plants for nutrition and steals it from other plants.The flowers are attractive and have the magenta color on the outside It can be identified by the particularly bright colored flowers emerging from the forest floor.

Several bulbs of this were sent to Kew (England) supposing them to be ​Crinum brachynema​, but when they flowered at Kew the plant proved to be a new species. Woodrow's Crinum Lily is endemic to Satara District, Mahabaleshwar and Kates Point in Maharashtra.
