This is the story of a recreative area. There were a swimming pool and some facilities. Now there is a place to be, to enhance the view of the forest and to enjoy yourself.
A project about the time, the human perspective and the ways of living from a sociological point of view. Three phases, three powers and three different institutions. Autohabitate.
A game with scales. We start from the smallest scale, with an individual space. Secondly, the medium scale, a 21x8 meters plot to inhabitate. Thirdly, the large scale, San Bernardo quarter ni Bogotá. The masterplan for the future urbanism: mixing of uses, coexistance, security and relationships.
Habitar la tierra is both an architectural project and a project of economics, sociology, and ecology, developed in the Spanish Mediterranean Levant. We propose a system that, while manifesting physically, becomes aware and seeks to resolve the problematic issues affecting the Levantine Mediterranean regions. We employ two tools: one is the political and social negotiation with the people of Oliva, involving them in the project's entire development; the other is the temporal aspect, understanding that time and needs will be the true builders of the project.
“… esta adversidad nos obliga a reconocer que aún no sabemos dónde estamos confinados, que ya no sentimos del mismo modo la consistencia, la materialidad, la resistencia, la fisiología, la resonancia, la combinación, la superposición, las propiedades de las cosas que nos rodean.”
Latour, Bruno. 2020.
