RockleazeRangersFootballClubwasestablishedin1976asaSundayteamunderthenameofNatWestCourt FCAfteracoupleofseasons,theclubexpandedintoSaturdayfootballandjoinedtheBristolandSuburban Leaguein1979Thereafterfollowedanumberofyearsduringwhichtheclubprogressedthroughthedivisions, withthehighlightbeingGFAMinorCupwinnersin1986.TheclubwerenowknownasAvonsideCourt,andthis progressionculminatedinbeingcrownedPremier2DivisionChampionsin1989
Afterfinishingthefollowingseasonin4thplaceinPrem1,theearly90’smarkedatransitionalperiodfortheclub, establishingclosertieswithBristolandWestand,asbythentheclubhadmovedgroundstoplayattheBristol andWestSportsClubthenonthePortwayUnderthemanagementofGeoffBryantandlatterlyPaulSmith,the clubattractedacoreofyoungplayers.Duringthisperiodtheclubenjoyeditsmostconsistentperformances, finishinginthetop6in4consecutiveseasonsandnarrowlymissingoutonthePrem1Championshipin1999 season,havingtosettlefortheRunners-upspot
AnotherdifficultperiodfortheClubfollowed,withtheclubnowknownasB&WAvonsidehavingtofindanew homeattheUniversityGroundatCoombeDingle,followingtheclosureoftheBristolandWestSportsGround, andlosinganumberofkeyplayerstoGloucestershireandSomersetCountyLeagueClubsThisresultedin relegationbacktoSuburbanPrem2in2004,however,thiswasaturningpointintheclub’sfortunes,withthe appointmentofAndrewMylandas1stTeamManager,manyoftheclubspastplayersreturnedcoupledwith therecruitmentofanumberofnewfacesandtheteambouncedbacktoPrem1in2005asPrem2runnersup. Duringthesummerof2009B&WAvonsideamalgamatedwithajuniorfootballclubknownasRockleaze RangerswhowerealsobasedattheUniversityGroundinCoombeDingletoformanewClubknownas RockleazeAvonsideFC.Attheendofthe2009-10seasonthedecisionwasmadetoaugmentthemergerfully byplayingunderasinglebanner,thatbeingRockleazeRangersFCSince2009theseniorsectionoftheclub expandedfrom2Saturdaysidesto5Saturdaysides,2SundaysidesandtwoUnder18's Attheendof2012/13CarmeloMiccichesteppeddownafter6successfulseasonsinchargeofthe1stteam, DaveJohnsonwasappointed’however,thingsdidn’tworkoutforJohnsonwhowasreplacedbyplayerNeil SimonsinMarchwiththeteamsittingsecondfrombottom,however,theteamultimatelyfinishedninthand reachedtheLesJamesLeagueCupwheretheylosttoanexceptionalLonglevensside.
