MATCHES
The potential injuries sustained as a result of someone using a pyrotechnic include:
Serious injuries, such as loss of limb or fingers
Severe burns, due to temperatures of up to 2,000°C
Breathing problems, due to smoke inhalation
Loss of hearing or sight, because of the explosive power
Action will be taken by the GFA if any club is reported to them by the Referee.

EstablishedbackintheWorldCupwinningyearof1966, BromleyHeathUnitedJuniorFootballClubistheoldestyouth footballclubintheBristolarea.Throughoutits60yearhistory ithasprovidedfootballforthousandsofchildrenpreparing themfortheseniorgame.Someofthemorefamousex BromleyYouthplayersincludeLouisCareyandGary Mabbutt.
Itwasn'tuntil2014thattheclubdecidedtointroducea SeniorSectiontoprovideaprogressionforatleastsomeof theyoungsterswhentheyfinishedplayingunder16orunder 18football.Initiallytherewasoneseniorsideplayinginthe BristolandDistrictLeague.
In2015WinfordPHFCamalgamatedwithBromleyHeath UnitedFCtotriplethesizeofitsseniorsectionandprovide theimpetusforsuccessivepromotionsthroughthedivisions oftheBristolandSuburbanLeague.The2018/19seasonsaw the1stteambecameChampionsoftheBristol&Suburban League.Atremendousachievementinsucharelativelyshort periodoftime.TheywerepromotedtotheGloucestershire CountyLeague.However,thefirstcoupleofseasonsatthis higherlevelwerenotallplainsailingwithplayersand managementhavingtoadjusttoamorephysicaland competitivetypeoffootballthatrequiredamuchhigher leveloffitness.Thedisruptioncausedtofootballandlifein generalbytheCovidpandemicoverthisperiodalsomadeit difficulttomaintainanyformofprogressorconsistency.
Itwasnotuntilthe2021-22seasonreallythattheClub startedtolookathomeintheCountyLeague,especiallyin thesecondhalfoftheseason.Teamrestructuringand creatingablendofyoungplayersandexperiencedplayers startedtopaydividends.Thisallcametofruitionduringthe 2022-23seasonwhenaverysuccessfulCountyLeague campaignsawusfinishingrunners-upintheLeaguenotfar behindthewinnersCribbsand8pointsclearofthethird placedteam.Thiswasfollowedupbya4thplacefinishthe followingseasonandlastseasonwewentallthewaytothe SeniorAmateurCountyCupFinal,onlytoloseonpenalties.
BromleyHeathUnitedJuniorandSeniorsectionsnow operateasonefootballclubwiththesameambitionsand hopesforthefuture.TheJuniorSectionwhichwasthefirst localclubtoopenaDevelopmentCentreasaninitial introductiontofootballforveryyoungchildrenisthriving. TheynowofferfootballforeveryJunior/Youthagegroup rightuptounder18level.TheSeniorSectionoffera progressionintoadultfootballeitherintothe‘A’teamorthe Reservesplayinginthe3rdandSeniordivisionsoftheBristol &SuburbanLeaguerespectively.Theaimisofcourseto produceplayerswhowilleventuallybecome1stteam players.
BromleyHeathUnitedFootballClubisbasedatPomphrey HillCommunitySportscomplexinMangotsfieldwhereallits teamsplay.ThePavilionoffersfantasticmodernfacilities andincludesaClubSportsBarshowinglivefootballand functionrooms.
