FATHER’S DAY AT WARESHOUSE SUIT SALE

EMAIL: News@RaiseThePraiseNews.net

PROMISES MADE, PROMISE KEPT, It was before the election, during the Mayoral Campaign that Councilman Eric Garcetti visited the Baptist Ministers’ Conference of Los Angeles and Southern California and shared his vision for the City of Los Angeles. He assured the conference, that he was not speaking empty words, but words of partnership. Mayor-Elect Garcetti shared his history and he also shared the letters that his father former District Attorney Gil Garcetti, had written but never opened until recent years. He shared how his Father wanted to make this city better than they City that he was born in. Many Times Councilman Garcetti came to the conference, but not just to ask for the support of the conference but he also came to be a support to the conference. After speaking with the President of The Baptist Ministers’ Conference of Los Angeles and Southern California, Pastor Xavier Thompson, also Pastor of the Southern Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, he was very positive for the outlook of the City of Los Angeles with the new Mayor that is coming on the scene. President Thompson said that he would like to go on record and say how grateful and thankful he was to have been aligned with Mayor Elect Garcetti in that, the BMCLA now has an access that is based on a partnership between them and the City of Los Angeles. President Thompson goes on to say that Mayor Elect Garcetti had proven to be the more substantive candidate that was pregnant with vision and unlimited potential. Mayor Elect promised that he would partner with the BMCLA, the they would have a seat at the table rather than a distant relationship. With that said, Mayor Elect Garcetti was a man true to his word and bond, on May 21, 2013, the BMCLA was his first stop. This wasn’t just an occasional stop, it was something that he promised during his campaign and the Promise that he made was a promise kept. President Thompson said that Mayor Elect Garcetti honored us by choosing us to be his first public appearance, that proves that he is a man of his word and a man with integrity. President Xavier Thompson and the BMCLA look forward to working with the new Mayor to make the City of Los Angeles better for all Angelinos. President Thompson is equally excited with the partnership with Mike Feur, The new City Attorney for the City of Los Angeles, who has asked President Thompson to serve on his transition team. Great things are PRES. XAVIER THOMPSON & MAYOR-ELECT ERIC GARCETTI happening in the City of Los Angeles
