The story of rapper Pine City Yungin Kvng Chrix The best artists are those who have learned to express their true thoughts and feelings through their art. Not only do these creatives create the best products, but they are also able to understand themselves better and build strong personalities.

We had a seat down with musician Pine City Yungin Kvng Chrix who started writing music at eight years. His music has helped him grow not only as an artist but as an all-around grounded person.

Here is the interview;

Musician Pine City Yungin Kvng Chrix first got into music at the mere age of eight years. Apart from keen observation of iconic artists like 2Pac, Lil Wayne, Michael Jackson, Biggie, Bone Thugs, and Harmony, Chrix used his emotions to write music.

"I just put my life struggles and experiences into the music, I decided to make music to let all my anger out and tell my story" twenty-three-year-old Chrix expressed.

The Alexandria Louisiana resident has taken his time to grow his career. He has no hurry in getting famous, he believes in taking one step at a time and allowing the streams to build up slowly.

Yungin surrounds himself with people that inspire him. His cousins' BARS and DEEZY2EXCLUSIVE, who are also musicians, have always encouraged him to keep pushing no matter whatever odds that stand his way.

Although the industry is saturated, the Houston Texas-born young man believes there is room for everyone and that there is no need for beef and negative vibes.

“If we all get the bag, there is no need to beef” he quoted.

Chrix’s music is purely based on his life experiences. He would not only love to collaborate with his idol J.cole but also curtain raise for him.

"I love J.cole's lyrical ability, I would love to go bar for bar with him" the musician expressed. "I would also love to curtain raise for him. But it's a toss-up between him, Polo, and Lil baby" If Pine City Yungin Kvng Chrix was not doing music, he would either be a basketball player or an owner of a dance choreography studio. He believes that it is possible to be in the entertainment industry without indulging in drugs or drug abuse.

"Sometimes people take drugs to help their mind ease and calm, but for me, my relationship is purely with music.

The mixed-race musician concluded the interview by leaving an encouraging message to his fans.

"Never stop, never give up, and keep pushing beyond your limits" He concluded.

Meet a woman who is not only following her passion as a musician but who has also learned the art of management and running a record label.

Although the Money Gang Entertainment label is yet to release its first single, it has already created a buzz in the region. We sat down with Tanika Tate, the record manager and artist to learn how she is able to grow a young brand and pursue her own interests in the industry.

Tanika Tate, also known as Money Gang T-Money has already signed two other artists to the label.

Together, the three musicians have worked on their first project which they are looking forward to releasing soon.

Trapped out - the project is already a talk in town and T-money anticipates that it will become a hit.

As a manager, Tanika Tate has learned how to seek out opportunities and present the record label well. She is lucky to be in boardrooms with influential people who she has learned from and who have been a key role in building her business.

Tanika is a keen observer of Master P who is her role model and who she believes can be an inspiration to budding entrepreneurs like herself, who need to learn professionalism and the power of consistency.

As an artist, T-money composes and performs trap music.

The Europa Mississippi-born businesswoman is thankful that she does not have to struggle while creating music. “To be honest I don’t have a creative process, music speaks to me and the words just come naturally - it's a blessing" the twenty-eight-year-old stated.

She feels lucky that the industry's pacesetters have paved the way and created a blueprint which she believes will help her and others to achieve success.

The musician believes in the power of building a strong brand. She emphasizes that she and her signed artists must remain dedicated and determined not only to be able to achieve their goals but to gain respect and approval in the music industry. Tanika believes that people will always treat you as best as you treat yourself, and as such she carries herself like a proper businesswoman who knows what she is doing.

T- Money knows that if she believes, she is capable of achieving anything that she has set her mind to.

Additionally, she knows that what God has purposed for her, nobody can be able to take away from her. She works hard, prays, and hopes that everything aligns as God has intended.

The black entrepreneur has performed in most parts of Mississippi and has booked shows that have been set for Atlanta, Louisiana, and Tennessee.

She is open to seeing all the opportunities that come her way and is always happy to give her best performance.

The best musicians are the ones who start from the bottom, musicians who are willing to learn an extra skill, get mentored by the right people, and invest in their skill in order to be successful.

We sat down with the hardworking BMG who is about to release his first album to learn what the journey has been like and how music is treating him.

The thirty-five-year-old musician explains that he has spent the last ten years developing and understanding his craft.

“I have learned how to work with other artists, I have just started to learn the marketing side of thing and I got my sound more perfected before I felt confident enough to release music on to major platforms” BMG explained.

The upcoming musician cum entrepreneur further explains that he would like to collaborate with most of his influences, top on his list being Rittz and Jellyroll.

“If I had them on a single track with me, I’d feel like I accomplished a major goal” Although it takes work and commitment, BMG is confident that anyone who wants to join the industry can do so under the right guidance.

“If you love it that much, link up with an artist you are confident in and go hard for them. Your turn will come if it was meant to be” MBG is excited about his upcoming album. Without divulging much, he expressed to us his creative process while writing music.

“Few of my tracks from my upcoming first official album release “ZzZz" were written while doing my job. I always have a mental catalog of instruments that I want to work with and ideas just come” he explains.

The musician is looking forward to growing his career, he is happy to be working with big legends in the underground scenes and cannot wait to showcase what he has been cooking in the near future.

The Oak Ridge-born Robert "Bobby" Mcghee first got into music at eighteen years old. His inspiration was his mother who enjoyed singing and dancing to different tunes while conducting her house chores.

Mcghee wanted to become a band member as a teenager, he played guitar and was drawn into rock/metal music.

“I definitely wanted to be in a band as a teenager, but as I grew older, I leaned towards stuff like Triple six Mafia, Haystak and eventually TechN9ne, Hopsin, Rittz, and Jellyroll. They are all big influences for sure" Mcghee explained.

As a musician, Mcghee goes by the stage name BMG of Southern Syndicate. BMG is easier to say and he can easily identify himself and where he belongs.

His music style is more upbeat, witty, and confident. He boasts of being able to touch on pain, loss, and hopelessness all in his music with an aim of encouraging other people who could be going through these situations.

BMG records, masters and mixes his music. He offers the same services to other musicians who may not have all the skills to produce music.

His other skills include video editing, video recording, and producing promo material.

He does small budget shoots and offers to edit promotional material that ends up on youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Google.

Many artists' way of writing is usually influenced by the environment, the case was no different for Junie the Goonie. We sat down with the rapper to learn how he learned to write music and become a rapper.

The music that Junie the Goonie makes can typically be described as rap music.

“I just put words together and slap them on beats” he explains, “and just like that, am making music” It is not by chance that he is that great at his art, the Ferriday Louisiana musician grew up in a gang-filled neighborhood where he became part of the Track Side Skillah Gang.

"I have been involved in strong-armed robberies, batteries, and other crimes. I have been in and out of jail and that has significantly influenced how I write my music and what my music is about" Junie the Goonie, whose real name is Albert Aaron West the 3rd was first influenced into music by his environment.

He explains that having grown up in the hood, it seemed to be something that everyone did and so he picked it up.

His stage name, however, came about as he was freestyling and repeatedly using the phrase that stack as his name.

The musician’s work aims at painting the world that he leaves in and giving other people access to the social-political challenges that people face in his neighborhood every day.

Junie is inspired by older artists in his environment. He hopes to grow his career by staying dedicated and putting in the work.

The rapper believes that everyone can be anything that they want to be if they are dedicated and committed to it.

He is a good example of a young man following his dreams and surviving the odds to become.

We sat down with Big Jay Out Chea who is just finding his footing in the rap industry. We wanted to learn from him what he has been up to and how he intends to reach his maximum potential .

Big Jay Out Chea is a Ferriday Louisiana-born artist who was inspired to get into music by his friends and relatives.

His genre of music is club and gangster music which he has been learning and creating since he was young. He continued to grow his creative prowess while in incarceration where he had enough time to think and lay a foundation for his music career Big Jay creates music based on the energy around him. He is keen to observe what's happening in his environment and how it makes him feel. This will then be translated into music.

The twenty-eight-year-old rapper would like to collaborate with NBG EX and HD if he gets the chance.

Although he is yet to perform anywhere, Big Jay would love to one day curtain raise for HD who he looks up to.

He is also inspired by other artists like Big Thowed, Killa K, Pistal Pat, Fave, Cralos, HWY, E Boy and KMAC.

Big Jay feels like music is where he is meant to be.

He cannot possibly see himself in any other job and as such puts his best foot forward to learn and create impactful music.

Although the upcoming artist has spent some time in jail, he is hopeful that the future is bright as his mind is occupied with music and the many ways that he is hoping to improve his art and grow as an artist.

Big Jay believes that his music is raw and honest to the social issues that he observes in his environment.

He knows to put effort where necessary and to trust no one when it comes to building a career.

Big Jay is not afraid to seek out for opportunities and ask established artists for help.

He hopes that this will teach him something new that will propel him to higher heights.

When we asked Big Jay what he can foresee for the future, the upcoming artist concluded the interview with one word “Movies."

We sat down with ‘Raining Hundreds’ for an interview to discuss how he has been able to move with the trend and how it has affected his art.

“My real name is David Green, but my stage name is Raining Hundreds” the musician introduced himself.

Raining Hundreds is inspired to make music by his children. He believes that when you have mouths to feed, you will do anything legally possible to get a meal on the table.

The Baton Rouge-based musician boasts of his ability to move with the trend.

“I like giving people what they want, so I must move with their taste” Hundred’s expressed.

His creative process includes observing what’s currently happening in the society and how people feel about it, he believes that this would be the kind of music that people would be happy to sing along to.

Raining Hundreds is greatly inspired by Master P's grass to grace story. "The man is proving that it's possible to get out of the hood and be rich forever” The musician explained.

In an industry that is highly infiltrated by men, a young female artist proves that it is not only possible to succeed but to thrive.

Any business is likely to prosper through networking and socializing. This is no different in the music industry, and as rapper Mycharee explains, it becomes easier to sell your skill when you take advantage of socialization to make business.

27-year-old Mycharee is a certified cook who has chosen music as her full-time career. Since she was young, the female rapper has always been able to express herself through writing lyrics.

“I grew up knowing music, but everyday life got me into rap” Not only can the Jackson Mississippi-born artist rap, but also sing melodiously. She believes this was the first gift that she was born in.

Mycharee grew up in the church, her father along with five of her uncles are all preachers. She learned from them how to embrace boldness and go for what she really wants.

With the age of social media, the artist has embraced digital networking as a tool to reach out to different associates and sell her ideas and skills.

“I seek opportunities by staying on social media and asking other artists for insights and advice" the musician stated. "I am not afraid of being sociable and staying active with various showcases” she proceeded to say.

Mycharee has made it easier for herself to relate with everyday people because she writes relatable music. She admits that her music is inspired by emotions and feelings.

“My music is versatile, whether I feel happy, overwhelmed, dark or turned up, I use that to create music” the artist explains. “Am also inspired by what I learn and am moved by my mood of the day” Among the many social-political issues that her music addresses include murder, crime, injustice, and hunger.

Mycharee understands issues that are real and uses her voice to speak about those issues.

She feels like she still has room for growth and hopes to one day collaborate with mainstream artists like Gucci, Jayz, Missy Elliot, Boosie, Kevin Gates, and Wayne. She also hopes to collaborate with renowned artists like Mohead Mike, Rev Banroll, and Dono vegas.

The musician's favorite song is her own composition, Geronimo.

She has learned that for her to thrive, she must always choose to dress up and show up. “The greatest advice I have ever received is to start having a business mindset. I should be confident enough in my craft to demand respect and authority” the artist echoed.

When we asked her what will be next for her career, the beautiful go-getter concluded the interview by enthusiastically telling us about her dreams to gain more exposure by relocating to another state.

Mycharee believes that it’s difficult to get support from home but she is likely to get exposure in other states.

The best leaders do not command but show others what to do by setting an example. Calvin Anderson is such a leader. He hopes that his experiences, which he shares through his music, can teach the younger generations to become better people in society.

If he wasn’t doing music, Calvin Anderson, commonly referred to as Nutty Reagge in the music industry would be out in the streets selling dope.

This is the reality for many youths who were raised in the streets. Nutty feels lucky that the streets instead shaped him and taught him how to be expressive through music.

Nutty Reagge got interested in music after listening to Lil Boosie youngest of camp when he was barely ten years old. "He became my favorite artist, and from that point, I wanted to rap" the artist expressed.

Nutty also comes from a creative family. He admits that his cousins have inspired him over the years. When he first performed on stage, the Louisiana-born artist was with his cousins, who although they stopped performing continue to be his support system.

Today Nutty Reagge has performed in Nashville, Tennessee, Atlanta, GA Chattanooga, Moss Point, and Mississippi.

He considers his music to be unique because it represents crucial matters in society.

“I am in my own lane. People in the industry do not rap the realities of their lives” the artist explains.

“My music needs its own genre, it would possibly be called Reality music because the music is made for the struggle and the thugs who have been through what I am rapping” he continued.

Making music is so easy for Nutty Reagge who admits that because he is always creating, writing music just comes to him when he needs it to.

The creative artist is thankful for the internet which he admits has come in handy for promoting his craft.

“The internet has made the game easier because you can now promote yourself right from the social media platform” he stated.

The artist, who first started rapping in Ferriday, says that the industry would be better if it could sieve out and get rid of fake and unserious rappers.

Nutty became a household name in Tennessee. He is hopeful to collaborate with artists such as Boosie da baby, Lil Baby, and his family members who he proudly explains are great at rapping and making music.

Nutty Reagge believes that the only person who has control of his fate is himself. ‘The best advice I ever received is to never let any other person tell me what I can or cannot do, it has worked for me” The musician hopes to add acting to his resume.

He is currently working with filmmakers in his neighborhood and hopes to appear in productions soon.

Nutty hopes that young people can learn from him and believe that all dreams can be achieved if work is put into them.

He aims to actively give an audience to the youth who have lost their ways to the streets.
