DOMESTIC FINANCIAL SERVICES SALES TAX (VARIATION OF RATE OF TAX) ORDER 2015 (Legal Notice 5 of 2015) Ord. 22 0f 2011

MADE by the Governor under section 6 of the Domestic Financial Services Sales Tax Ordinance.

Citation and commencement 1. This Order may be cited as the Domestic Financial Services Sales Tax (Variation of Rate of Tax) Order 2015 and shall come into operation on 1 April 2015.

Section 4 amended 2. Section 4(1) of the Domestic Financial Services Sales Tax Ordinance is amended by deleting the words “ten per cent” and substituting “twelve per cent”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Order) This Order increases the rate of the financial services sales tax from 10% to 12% with effect from 1 April 2015.
