FISHERIES PROTECTION (LOBSTER) (CLOSE SEASON) ORDER 2014 (Legal Notice 32 of 2014) MADE by the Governor under regulation 12(2) of the Fisheries Protections Regulations.

Citation and commencement 1. This Order may be cited as the Fisheries Protection (Lobster) (Close Season) Order 2014 and comes into operation on publication in the Gazette.

End of close season for 2014 2. The close season in relation to crawfish, for the current year, shall end on 14 August 2014.

Commencement of close season for 2015 3. The close season for crawfish for the year 2015 shall commence on 15 March 2015. __________ MADE this 11th day of July 2014.

EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Order) The effect of this Order is to— (a) extend the close season for crawfish (lobster), for this year, to 14 the August 2014 (the lobster season opens on 15 August 2014); and (b) provide for the close season for the year 2015 to commence on 15 March 2015.
