ANNUAL REPORT 2022

OUR MISSION: To foster volunteer engagement of adults 55+ to improve lives and strengthen communities.
OUR GOAL: To promote positive and healthy aging and meet critical community needs with the help of AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP volunteers.
OUR COMMITMENT: RSVP strives to offer diverse and inclusive volunteer opportunities that welcome and engage all members age 55+ in our community.
In 2022, we welcomed 199 new RSVP volunteers. This is unprecedented growth for our program in a single year. We continue to take great pride in supporting adults age 55+ interested in enhancing our communities through volunteer service.
With the help of our federal, state and local support, AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP volunteers serving Central Minnesota provided a value of $2.8 million back to our communities.
While RSVP's priority areas include strengthening food security efforts, supporting K-12 academic engagement, and providing wellness outreach across our four-county service region, we know our volunteer service impact reaches far beyond meeting these critical community needs. In our recent volunteer satisfaction survey, our members indicated RSVP provides social connections, improves mental and physical health, and enhances a sense of purpose and meaning.
We are looking forward to this upcoming year of prosperity as we celebrate RSVP serving Central MN over the last 50 years!
