WORKFORCE

In September of 2024, we launched the Placer Workforce Development Foundation.

The vision of the Foundation is to cultivate a diverse and talented workforce, strengthening Placer County’s prosperous and inclusive economy. Through strategic collaborations and innovative programs, create a robust workforce and thriving economic ecosystem where individuals have access to meaningful employment opportunities and employers have access to a diverse and skilled talent pipeline.

At the event we also launched the new foundation website, PlacerWorkforce.org, where you will be able to learn more about the Foundation and the Talent Pipeline Management Initiative that the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce brought to the Sacramento region in 2023 focusing on strengthening the talent pipeline for 5 industry sectors: Health Care, Construction, Hospitality, IT and Manufacturing.

A special acknowledgement to the City of Roseville who provided the initial funding to launch this initiative and to our Presenting Sponsor at Talent Connect, GoEducate. The success of Talent Connect and the launch of the Placer Workforce Foundation would not be possible without your generous support. Make sure to check out PlacerWorkforce.org to learn more about the Foundation and we look forward to seeing you next year at Talent Connect!

VISION

Advancing the Roseville Area to be the best region in California to live, work and do business.
