Jl. Kembangan Harum 3 Blok C3 no. 18, Kembangan Selatan, Jakarta Barat

Mr. Henry has a large family.. He lives with his wife and his son, who has his own family, including two sons.

The uniqueness in this family’s design stems from Mr. Henry’s desire to monitor the surrounding environment and the strong sense of family connection. Additionally, Mr. Henry has a preference for a design that combines minimalism with luxury.

CONCRETE

The main interior design concept uses concrete and wood colors material, with cream white as a supporting color. The furniture will incorporate LED lighting to enhance the luxurious feel. Additionally, to fulfill Mr. Henry’s request, a void was created in the family room to evoke a sense of luxury while allowing him to monitor the surroundings and easily communicate to others.

Mr. Andre’s apartment has three designed spaces: the Master Bedroom, the Children’s Room, and the Kitchen/Family Room.

Mr. Andre desires a minimalist and luxurious design with a limited budget. So the challenge is for us to make luxurious concept with affordable material.

This building is designed for a small family, intended for use as a vacation home or rental. The focus is on aesthetics, with minimal storage space requirements.

The main interior design concept uses beige gray and wood brown tones. Supporting colors include gold and off-white. Additionally, the furniture will incorporate LED lighting to enhance the luxurious feel.

PT. Valvindo Megah

Jakarta

Valvindo comes from the words Valve and Indonesia. Our founder’s original vision was to provide valve products to the local market, which initially had very limited options.

The main concept of this design is to literally represent Valvindo through the red “V” logo. This concept highlights the Valvindo logo being used as a bridge on the second floor, serving as a functional space.

Erick is an architecture student at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara who lives with his extended family of eight members.

The uniqueness of this family lies in Erick’s father’s desire to observe the activities of the surrounding environment, the importance of family bonds, and his busy work life.

This building is designed for a large family consisting of three generations. Within these three generations, there are eight family members. Most of the family members are involved in managing the family business.

The issue within the family is the lack of bonding between family members due to their busy work schedules

The concept of this building is to restore the sense of kinship among the family members without interfering with their work routines, while also fostering relationships with the neighbors.

The space configuration is designed to maximize the potential views from areas commonly used for relaxation and to provide circulation that allows enjoyment of those views. Private spaces such as bedrooms, bathrooms, and the kitchen are given privacy and are not visible from the outside. There is also a workspace for family members who work, allowing them to work from home.

Shows the roof shape that supports the building’s mass form and aids in the building’s air circulation.

OPENING

Shows the location of the building openings to capture views and natural sunlight.

The building mass is shaped as such to maximize the potential of the site, including the view and air circulation. There is also a garden in the center of the building that serves as an aesthetic feature and helps improve air circulation.

ISSUE

Public spaces that lose their primary function of uniting activities from various people lead to the issue of segregation, which is a separation based on race, religion, or other factors.

ISSUE SITE

Menteng Park is a well-known green space but has minimal community presence, whereas Suropati Park is a green space that has successfully fostered diverse communities.

• Menteng Park is known for its greenhouse, but the greenhouse has lost its original identity and has become a building that is rarely used.

REASON FOR SITE SELECTION

The greenhouse is a memorable structure in Menteng Park that originally served the function of growing seedlings, but it has since lost its purpose. Therefore, the design aims to revitalize the original identity of the greenhouse while introducing a concept to enhance community engagement or explore alternative functions for the greenhouse.

BENTUK TERINSPIRASI DARI EKSISTING

RUMAH KACA TAMAN MENTENG

Fuzel comes from the words fuze and puzzle. Fuze refers to the process of uniting what is separated, while puzzle represents the process of making people think. It aims to create a public space that unites differences, allowing diversity to coexist harmoniously in order to form an optimal public space.

The site location for the FUZEL building is in Menteng, Central Jakarta. More specifically, it is located on Jl. HOS. Cokroaminoto, Menteng, Menteng District, Central Jakarta City, Special Capital Region of Jakarta 10310.

FUSE BOX

The Fuze Box is a multifunctional box designed as a space for visitors to engage in various activities. These activities include seating, relaxing (lying down), and gathering (discussion). The concept we take similar to lego where people can interact and make their own design for their uses.

WATER RECYCLE

IRRIGATION WATER FLOW TO EACH PLANTS

WATER FILTER TANK FOR REUSE

The technology used in this greenhouse is the reuse of water, in the form of water collection. The purpose of reusing water is to conserve water usage for irrigating plants. The sources of this technology are used irrigation water and rainwater.
