The Alleycatz Skipping Club has proudly represented the Northern Alberta Peace Country for 37 years, excelling in competitions, workshops, and promoting the “Jump Rope for Heart” program through demonstrations across the region.

Our team is currently composed of one coach, three assistant/part-time coaches, ten competitive athletes, and nine recreational skippers.

Fun fact: One of our athletes holds the world record for the most skips over a rope in one hour! Completing 14,657 skips in one hour, in our small town of Grimshaw AB.

We are committed to raising awareness of the jump rope sport by highlighting its numerous health benefits—both physical and community-based—while fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment. We absolutely LOVE jumping rope and look forward to continuing to share this amazing sport and unique community with others.

Bonnyville Skipperoos

The Bonnyville Skipperoos have been running since 2012. Although the club has had an extensive drop in members over the years we are still around with those that are extremely passionate about the sport. We hope to see our numbers grow again next season and gain more interest in this amazing sport of ours.

Camrose Spirals

The Camrose Spirals Jump Rope Club has been jumping for over 30 years! This year we have 25 competitive athletes - many are returning members, but we are excited to have a few new faces on our competitive team this season. Our Head Coach is Jodi Bogstie, who has been involved in various aspects of the sport for over 20 years. The other two coaches, Myles Bogstie and Jemma Lauder, have been competing for many years and we are thrilled to have them and their expertise.

The Spirals also run a recreational program for kids ages 6 and up, and this year we were happy to have nearly 30 new jumpers participate! We are so thankful to have the chance to compete at both Provincial and National levels, and we wish everyone good luck and at the upcoming competitions this season!

Collegiate Jump Rope

We are Collegiate Jump Rope. Founded in 2022, we share a passion for competitive skipping while pursuing our studies away from our home province of Alberta.

Attending three different universities in different cities, we train individually throughout the year. To hold a team practice, we’d have to travel an astonishing 2,323 km—crossing both provincial and international borders! To choreograph our group routines this summer, we needed to coordinate online across three different time zones, with up to an 16-hour difference between them.

Our 2024-25 team includes Shailah, Everett, Garrett, and Katelyn (pictured L to R). As dedicated skippers, we work hard to balance academics and athletics and are committed to inspiring the next generation of competitive jumpers to keep skipping through university

Whether advancing their education, pursuing careers, or navigating personal goals, members find a way to balance their passion for jump rope with their other ambitions from coast to coast.

Nelson Rhythm Ropers

The Nelson Rhythm Ropers hosted the JRBC provincial championships this April. Our team has gone through many changes since we last hosted in 2018. With our beloved Brenda Reid retiring and past jumpers Kristi Siminoff (Head Coach) and Meghan Niminiken (Treasurer) taking over. The Rhythm Ropers have been part of the jump rope community since 1987 and have competed at a provincial, national and international level. Our team has been rebuilding the past few years and currently consists of 3 coaches, 10 competitive jumpers and about 6 recreational jumpers. Our athletes range in age from 5 to 28, and we will be sending two 19+ athletes and 1 coach to nationals this year. We love getting out in our community doing shows and school demos, and watching our next generation of jumpers fall in love with competing. KW Jump Rope

Founded in 2023, KW Jump Rope offers both recreational and competitive programs, with a passionate focus on growing the sport of jump rope in the Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. As we continue to expand our competitive team and introduce more athletes to the sport, we’re also proud to be sending athletes to the World Championships in Japan this year. Our athletes have been training hard, pushing their limits, and are ready to showcase just how far they’ve come.

We’re excited to be competing at Nationals with some of the most talented and passionate jump rope athletes from across Canada. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the parents, coaches, sponsors, and community members for their continued support. Best of luck to all athletes at Nationals!

Toronto Jump Rope Club

Hello we are Toronto Jump Rope Club based in Markham. Regardless of a small group we are, we enjoy rope skipping as much as you do. There will be four members going to Japan in July. We are relatively new to here so there is nothing much to share about, but I can do three fun facts about our club. First, funny enough our club is mostly composed of people from Hong Kong. Secondly, the members of our club are all shy. If you see them in a competition or in a jump rope camp, please feel free to talk to and be friends with them. The last fact is that we have three boys out of seven members (including me) in our club, which is definitely a high ratio as boys are so scarce in rope skipping Canada!

Team Nova Scotia

Jump Energy Scotia Skippers

Jump Energy

Jump Energy is excited to be in Saskatoon for the 2025 RSC National Championships. Formerly known as the Eastern Shore Mariner Skippers, this is our club's 27th National Championships! We are grateful to see a new generation of skippers emerging from the very same athletes who were there from the start. Jump Energy is currently composed of 28 athletes, led by coaches Sam Ashley, Cameron Short, Brooke Neily, and Kristyn Ball. We are excited to see all of the fantastic performances and wish all of the teams good luck!

Scotia Skippers

Established in Fall of 2023, we are the newest addition to Rope Skipping Nova Scotia, located in Dartmouth/Lawrencetown. We are proud to offer recreational and competitive programs.

Coached by head coach Delia Miles, we are a club with members aging from 8-19. We have had the privilege to partake and facilitate workshops and events around our community. As a team this season, we have strived to create a positive and uplifting environment for athletes to grow in. We have worked hard this season to increase rope skipping membership in Nova Scotia. We have had a season filled with new tricks and exciting accomplishments. Good Luck to all other teams participating in the National Championship and we look forward to cheering you on!
