While retirement was enjoyable, he missed working with people and helping them with their needs. He decided to enter the real estate market with Landmark. Wes graduated from Furman University on an athletic scholarship and graduated from the University of S. Carolina Law School. A commissioned officer in the Army, Wes has been active in the community, serving on numerous boards, such as the Boys & Girls Club of the Midlands. He is also an Elder at Northeast Presbyterian, where his wife Joan is the Director of Music Ministries. They have two sons, Scott and Jeff and the loves of his life, his granddaughter Anna Leigh and grandson Wesley Scott.
