RPS Talk-Walk-Talk - Parks and Gardens, Stanley Park, Blackpool, 26th April 2025
Six members attended the Talk-Walk-Talk meeting at Stanley Park in Blackpool.
This award winning park had much to offer us from people relaxing to formal and natural planting, wildlife, interiors and landscape.
At our follow-up meeting, held on Zoom on 23rd May we selected an image by Roger Styles called “Kelly and Rob.” Roger writes:
Kelly and Rob, Stanley Park, Blackpool. After taking this shot I introduced myself and learned that Kelly, the dog, recently had a hind leg amputated after an accident and is still recovering. Rob, her owner, often brings her to the park as she loves to meet people. I was delighted to send Rob a copy of the image. This encounter occurred just as I was leaving and it was a charming end to an enjoyable day’s photography.
