Happy New Year!

We hope you had lots of festive fun and that Santa was generous to your little ones.

The Walled Garden Team have been busy making plans for a fun-filled 2024.

If you are looking for ways to entertain your WJs this February Half Term, sign them up for our sports and creative Multi-Activity Camps.

February Half Term Multi-Activity Camps

Rude Science with Stefan Gates

Monday 12 to Friday 16 February 9.30am-4.30pm

Pall Mall Saturday 3 February, 1.00-2.00pm and 4.00-5.00pm

Our February Half Term Multi-Activity Camps cater for toddlers (with parental supervision), 5 to 7 year olds, and 8 to 11 year olds. Children can engage in diverse daily challenges and sports activities tailored to their age groups. Full day and half day sessions available.

Stefan Gates presents weird and wonderful facts about your bodily functions with fun and scientific facts that will fascinate children and adults alike. This is a family event and recommended for ages six and above.

Valentine's Day Arts and Crafts Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 February 2024, 10.00am-4.00pm Join our Valentine's Day Arts and Crafts Workshop filled with love and creativity. Let your WJs dive into the world of colours, glitter and heartfelt creations. We will provide all the materials, guidance and a whole lot of laughter and fun!

Half Term Pancakes Woodcote Park, Fountain Brasserie Monday 12 to Sunday 18 February Invite the whole family to the Fountain Brasserie for half term pancakes.

Enjoy a traditional pancake with golden caster sugar and lemon juice.

Or try something different including ricotta pancakes with strawberry compote and Nutella. If you prefer savoury to sweet, try our lentil and potato dosa style pancakes.

This is a walk-in event and there is no need to book.

Swimming Crash Course

Book a room at Woodcote Park during the school holidays and your children can stay and eat for free in the Fountain Brasserie. During your stay, children will also receive a complimentary lunch box each day for the duration of their visit from the Garden Café.

This is an opportunity for 4 to 7 year olds to participate in a dedicated week of intensive swimming lessons during February Half Term.

Classes will be at 9.00-9.30am and 9.30-10.00am depending on ability.

Up to eight participants per class.

Junior Golf Golf Academy The academy programme is in full swing and offers an innovative, fun and exciting approach to the game of golf suitable for all standards and ages.

The next assessment days and sessions are: 1st Assessment Weekend – Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 February 1st Academy sessions start – Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February 1st Academy sessions finish – Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 March Roll-Ups on the Coronation Course These take place every Sunday from Sunday 7 January to Sunday 29 December with tee times at 2.00pm and 2.10pm. Junior Golf Pass Holders and Junior Academy students who have been assessed by one of the PGA Professionals are most welcome to come along. These sessions are a good opportunity to meet fellow WJs and have fun whilst playing the course.

Competitions on the Coronation Course These take place on the first Sunday of every month from Sunday 7 April to Sunday 6 October with tee times at 2.00pm, 2.10pm, 2.20pm and 2.30pm.

Junior Golf Pass Holders with a valid WHS handicap are all welcome to take part.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10.00-10.40am

Classes are grouped based on your child’s ballet grade. £99.00 per term.

Mini Tennis - Saturdays 9.00-9.45am: 5 to 8 years 9.45-10.30am: 9 to 12 years Please note there will be no Mini Tennis on Saturday 3 February.
