All seniors are required to complete this course.
Principled Entrepreneurship Institute (PEI)
OUR MOTTO Duc in Altum: “Into the Deep”
We encourage our students to go out into the deep--spiritually, academically, artistically, athletically--and trust that their leaps of faith will reward them with nets full of knowledge and experience.
The Principled Entrepreneurship Institute (PEI) at Marin Catholic, in partnership with The Catholic University of America, offers a distinctive certificate program for students interested in principled entrepreneurship.
PEI admits up to 20 students per year who apply during their sophomore year.
Accepted students are required to complete Entrepreneurship courses (ENT1/ENT2), which includes the development of their own business, in their junior and senior years, and have the opportunity to engage in seminars and workshops led by local entrepreneurs, business leaders, and college faculty.
Junior Fellowship: 50-Hour Self-Directed Summer Research Project
The Marin Catholic Junior Fellowship Program challenges students to propose, design, and implement a self-directed learning experience to complete over the summer. A group of 3–4 students are selected through a competitive review process, based on approval of detailed project proposals.
Fellows commit to 50+ hours of independent work, participate in ongoing support workshops, and collaborate closely with the Junior Fellowship Program Director to develop and present a high-level project.
