The Dr David Smith 10 Year Service Award
I was recently honoured with the "Dr David Smith 10 year Service Award" from Round Table Southern Africa in recognition of my decade-long commitment to the organization. It all started in 2012, when Jandre Barnard invited me to a meeting at Matlosane 219. Today, I remain an active member of the organization, now at Matlosane 45.
During a recent meeting of Round Table STNOFS Area in Potchefstroom, I was presented with the award in appreciation of my unwavering dedication and contribution to the organization over the past 10 years.

Receiving the Dr David Smith 10-year Service Award is a great honour, and I am deeply committed to Round Table Southern Africa and the work we do. This recognition means a great deal to me, and I am grateful for the support and encouragement of my fellow Round Table members over the years.
As an organization, Round Table Southern Africa is dedicated to making a positive impact on the communities we serve. The Dr David Smith 10-year Service Award is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of members like myself, who have made significant contributions to their communities through their service.
I am proud to be a part of this organization, and I look forward to continuing to serve and make a difference in the years to come. Once again, I express my heartfelt gratitude for this prestigious award and to all those who have supported me along the way.
With their Vice Chairman as DJ for the evening there was no shortage of good music. This kept the feet of many visitors moving throughout the evening. With classics playing such as “baby chocolates” and Eden to keep the sokkie vibe. A lot of langarm, line dancing and just plain moving the body to the rhythm of the music took place.
Thank you Umhlatuze 261 for a fun filled evening.
