Ballito 221 has started a project the Sandwich drive. This means that as a table Ballito 221 get together at the clubhouse to make delicious mouthwatering sandwiches for those in need in our community.
With great success our first drive took off with a lot of tablers getting involved as well as our wonderful partners. We as a club made more than 70 sandwiches which we distributed throughout the Ballito area via the back of a bakkie.
This was fun and everyone got stuck into it. From our smallest future tabler Grayson handing out sandwiches to others. We as a table try to instill good values not only in the community but also in our families, as seen with Grayson. His kindness is an inspiration to us as tablers, we can learn a lot from others. Just as we have learnt kindness through this young future tabler.
We as a table Ballito 221 wish to make this a monthly occurrence and get more exposure to make this a food drive that will help our community.
