Delta x Rotunda
As a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, I can attest that joining this sisterhood has been a transformative and empowering journey for me. From the moment I embarked on the application process, I knew I was stepping into an organization that values sisterhood, scholarship, and service.
The first principle that drew me to Delta Sigma Theta is Sisterhood. Joining this sorority meant becoming a part of a strong and supportive community of women who share common goals and values. The bond forged among my Delta sisters is unparalleled, creating a network of lifelong connections and friendships. It's more than just a group; it's a sisterhood that extends beyond college years and geographical boundaries, for the rest of our lives.
Scholarship is another cornerstone of DST. The commitment to academic excellence is not only encouraged but celebrated. Our sorority places a high value on education and continuously strives to uplift and support our members in their pursuit of knowledge.
This commitment to scholarship extends beyond our individual pursuits and includes initiatives that promote education and learning within the broader community.
Service is at the heart of DST's mission, and what our founders believed to be of the utmost importance. Our sorority was founded on the principles of social activism, and this commitment to service is woven into the fabric of our sisterhood. Through various programs and initiatives, we actively engage in community service, advocating for social justice, and addressing the needs of underserved populations. This dedication to service is not just a duty; it's a passion that unites my Delta sisters in making a positive impact in the world.
Joining Delta Sigma Theta has not only enriched my college experience but has also empowered me to become a more active and engaged member of society. The principles of Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service serve as guiding lights, shaping the way we interact with one another and the world around us.
As a Delta Sigma Theta sister, I am proud to be part of an organization that stands for excellence, unity, and making a difference in the lives of others.
