There is a car park directly opposite the Civic Theatre on Percy Street and a larger one on Nottingham Street which is a five minute walk from the Civic Theatre.

There is an excellent bus and rail service both to and from Rotherham Town Centre with all local districts catered for. The Civic Theatre is within 15 minutes of the bus station and the rail / tram-train station.

TERMS Tickets On Sale Please note that tickets do not necessarily go on sale at the same time that the brochure is issued. Some productions go on sale according to demand and signed contracts. Prices are correct at time of going to print. Please visit rotherhamtheatres.co.uk Reservations will be held for five working days. After this time tickets will be released for resale. Reservations cannot be made within five working days of the performance. Concessions are subject to availability and can be changed and/or withdrawn at any time without prior notice. A ‘Concession’ (unless otherwise stated) may refer to a person who is: • Aged 16 or under (school age) or is 60 or more • A student in full time education • Registered Disabled

Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult age 16+ to be permitted into the auditorium. Babes in arms tickets are available from box office. All children must have a valid ticket. If you wish to leave your child in a baby carrier a seat must be purchased alongside you. Pushchairs will not be allowed in the auditorium. It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to remove their child from the auditorium if he / she becomes upset so as not to spoil the enjoyment of others. Latecomers may only be admitted into the auditorium during a suitable break in the performance and are requested to take the nearest seat available. The use of recording equipment, video recorders, photography or mobile phones is not permitted in the Auditorium.

Postage is charged at 75p per 10 tickets a transaction. Postage is non-refundable.

You may be asked for proof of your discount eligibility.

FACILITIES

Family Ticket where available comprise of three or four people, of whom at least two are children. Group bookings are welcome on any performance. Group discounts may be available on selected shows. Please ask box office for details. Only one concession or discount can be applied per ticket purchased and cannot be applied retrospectively. Refunds Tickets are not refundable except in the case of a cancelled or rescheduled performance. Ticket exchanges may be possible for the same production at a cost of £1 per ticket.

Infra-red and induction loop hearing systems are available from box office at the Civic Theatre. Wheelchair Spaces sold on a first come, first served basis with carers’ seats available next to them when possible. Please specify at the time of booking. The Civic Theatre has a ramp access and accessible toilet facilities. Unfortunately we do not have a lift. Access Dogs are welcome at the theatre – please inform box office at the time of booking to ensure suitable seats are available and allocated.

Our aim is to make your visit to the Civic Theatre an enjoyable one. If you have any special requirements or issues with access please let us know and we will do our best to help.

This booking fee is retained by the Theatre and does not get split with the artistes or the performance company, as happens with the ticket price. This means that every penny stays with us to help us continue to deliver a wide range of performances and reduce the reliance on the Council’s subsidy, to help keep the theatre open and accessible.

BOOKING FEES The advertised ticket price will be the total price you pay with any fees included. The Booking Fee on tickets purchased is ÂŁ1 per ticket (subject to change). There will be no additional transactional, or handling charges applied to the advertised ticket price.

There is no Booking Fee for amateur or community hires. Thank you for helping the Civic Theatre to grow and remain a viable provision.

There is an optional postage charge that can be added at time of payment.

The seats on row A are level access and require no use of steps. This row is available for wheelchair users by contacting box office. In some cases these seats may be released for general sale. Wheelchair users should always book via box office to ensure adequate provision. We are unable to accommodate mobility scooters in the auditorium.
