2022-23 MESSAGE FROM ROTARY INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT

Rtn. Jennifer Jones President Rotary International

2 www.rotaract3292.org

We all feel the impact that Rotary service and Rotary values have on us … now it’s our opportunity to share that feeling with others. This is a year to Imagine Rotary by envisioning a world that deserves our best, where we get up each day knowing we can make a difference. We don’t imagine yesterday, we imagine Wetomorrow.imagine a world without polio, with clean water for everyone. We imagine a world free of disease and where every child learns to read. We imagine kindness, hope, love, and peace.

Dear fellow Rotaract leaders

Over and over our surveys find that member comfort and care is the single greatest driver of member satisfaction and our most powerful tool in driving members retention. So, we need to put a special emphasis on membership care and belonging. And that work begins with listening. We need to understand why our members took the big leap and joined us – and we need to know what they expect from us. What do they want out of their Rotary involvement and what we can do to help them get more out of their Rotary experience?

3 www.rotaract3292.org

Friends, we all have dreams, but acting on them is a choice. And it becomes our responsibility to make these dreams a reality. Let us imagine a world that deserves our best, where we get up each day knowing that we can make a difference. With above vision, Rotary International President Jennifer Jones has given the theme “Imagine Rotary” for the year 2022-2023. Our district has our Theme “Together for a better world”. True to its spirit, I am confident your club under the able leadership of your Club President will support the society by serving the community.

Thank You to all the leaders.

While the world has changed over time, as have the way we as Rotaractors interact with each other, the fundamental values that have always attracted young adults to Rotaract have remained the same. The values engraved in the four way test continue to attract ethical young adults with a passion for service into Rotaract. I was personally attracted by the promise of making lasting friendships with likeminded people, and I promise you I have not been disappointed. The goals of Rotaract, which guide our service and growth paths as Rotaractors have enabled us to be distinct from our peers who have not had an opportunity to join a Rotaract Club.

Dear Rotaract Leaders Namaskar and Rotaract Greetings; Stepping up to become a DRR, I believe that Leadership is Influence, not Instruction. Rotaract has a great pool of young people who are self-motivated, energetic, and devoted, which is one of the reasons I find it intriguing. While promoting our own personal and professional development, we make every effort to alter society for the better. It is wonderful to see Rotaract Club exceling in all these areas since it is the ideal combination of service, friendship, and personal development. There are lots of things I learnt till now.

First thing was It helped me a lot to develop my speaking abilities. It has helped me to developed my confidence. I always liked public speaking but whenever I tried to speak infront of public I used to feel nervous. I gained knowledge about project management skills, it has taught me about communication skills.

I was involved in Rotaract since September 2018 and got inducted in April 2019 in Rotaract club of patan and recently i transferred to Rotaract club of bharatpur on the 3rd of June 2022. At first I was totally unknown about the Rotaract.

After attending meetings , program and district events , I started knowing more about Rotaract and then my definition for Rotaract changed.

Yeah there have been ups and downs too but one thing is for sure we have to keep going, keep growing, keep exploring and keep experiencing. It has taught me how to deal with difficult times.

Life-long friends whom I am going to cherish them for whole life. I would like to thank everyone who supported me and who encouraged me.

To all my Rotaract family, remember you are the best. Lots of love.

Are you a proud Rotaractor? Yes I am a proud Rotaractor. Rotaract is now an emotion for me. I feel really good that I joined Rotaract and must say one of the best things I have done in my life is joining Rotaract. There are many blissful memories with the events which I am going to hold close to my heart forever.

Definitely yes, Each of us has our unique journey to share. Namaste I am Rtr.Iva Hamal a registered Nurse and a proud Rotaractor. It has already been 4 years I have been involved in Rotaract. So when I first joined Rotaract I thought that Rotaract is just about providing service to the community. I was so excited in first day of my meeting .

And last and most important thing I have learned always speak of how you feel and always give your views on everything.

What I learnt from Rotaract?

Rotaract memories are the best memories aren’t they?

Now for me Rotaract is a platform where I can develop my skills and personality where I can learn many new things, where I can make many new friends even from other countries while serving the community. I must say friendship is the most beautiful thing in Rotaract also increasing bonding and providing services .
